Big Brother 8 Daily Coverage

Today the jury gets to question Dick and Daniele, pretty exciting right? No, it isn't shown on the live feeds, and like all the other BB events, the set-up time is really long. When the FotH, and all the interrogation is over, I'm sure the Donatos will be talking about the questions the jury asked. Check today's blog project for any tid-bits our live feed updaters may have caught.

After midnight... 5:40AM BBT: Dick and Daniele are sitting at the kitchen counter talking, the subject is still Big Brother. Daniele: "Safety! These people are so stupid-- 'On a need to know basis.' Kail, when have you ever heard that in the house?" Both are sitting on the bar stools, Dick is shuffling cards as they talk.

6:30AM BBT: (I just got up this morning to find) Dick and Daniele are still awake and hanging out in the kitchen. Daniele is playing around with the keys on the picture wall. She hangs her key in the Veto spot and kids around saying that’s where it belongs. Dick says he got more HoH’s than anyone.

Daniele wants to know if BB can wake those people (the jury) up in Mexico so we can get these questions over with.

Daniele laughs and says she heard someone burp behind the wall. Daniele (talking to BB) “can I get a fruit platter?” Dick offers to cut her some fruit. Daniele whines nooooooooo I wasn’t talking to you I was talking to BB. Dick tells her she has so much attitude today. They have another whiny exchange about the playing cards. Daniele says she is gonna quit bugging him and she goes to bed.

Dick goes outside for a ciggy and monologues about Daniele’s attitude and how her future hubby is gonna have his hands full. He says she always leaves, she always quits, she never talks anything out.

6:58AM BBT: Dick says he needs to go to bed but goes back inside to play solitaire. Dick keeps commenting on how loud the rats in the walls are being and he keeps telling them to shush. (I can even hear them banging around).

7:13AM BBT: Dick tells us “good night” and heads off to bed. (the rats are being really loud, there is constant banging in the walls, I dunno how anybody could go to sleep with all that banging going on)

8:09AM BBT: Dick’s back up and heads out for a ciggy.
The 2nd Annual LA run/walk is occurring very near the BB BY. (I can hear the announcer on the loudspeaker) Dick comments on the event “I am the city councilwoman of this district that helped set up this run/walk 2nd annual fuckin jerk me off STFU”
Dick goes inside and says “you think I would be interested to hear someone else’s voice but an LA City Councilwoman?”

8:22AM BBT: Dick goes back to bed.

9AM BBT: Dick’s up again (make up your mind already) He changes from shorts to jeans so he may be up for keeps this time. Dick goes outside and can hear music from the walk/run playing over the BY walls. He comments “this is the music I have to hear” and we get FotH. Back to Dick sitting on the BY sofa smoking.

9:40AM BBT: (I was wrong) Dick goes back to bed in his blue jeans.

(The rats are being extremely loud behind the walls. There are constant sounds like things being drug across a wood floor, drills running, and doors slamming. I dunno what they are doing but they are L-O-U-D)

10:40AM BBT: Dick and Daniele still sleeping

11:40AM BBT: they are still sleeping (or my feeds have frozen up, it’s one of the two, take your pick)

12:13PM BBT: Daniele’s up and ADL’ing

12:40PM BBT: Daniele showering

1:23PM BBT: Dick is still sleeping. Daniele has moved on to curling her hair…

2PM BBT: Daniele’s hairdo is looking lovely and Dick’s still in bed.

(I have thoroughly enjoyed being bored with you today.
For tomorrow… same bat-time, same bat-channel… DB)

2:15PM BBT: Daniele got something to eat and is sitting at the kitchen counter. Dick still sleeping.

[Note: We were unable to update this page last night, but here are some of the highlights (Ha!) from our live feed updaters. ]

2:45PM BBT: Daniele got up to go inside to the SR. She is goes through the cabinets, found a bag of chips, ate one, and looked around some more before exiting SR eating the chips. Goes back to kitchen, reading packages. (Not sure what she is looking for)

Daniele is reading the back of a package, possibly chocolate chips. She got out a large pan, flour and other ingredients, looks like she is going to make chocolate chip cookies. Still eating chips, and back to storage room and back to kitchen again.

3:15PM BBT: Dick is making his bed, and Daniele is cleaning up the kitchen after making her recipe? Dick is now having a shower.

Big News: It's Not Cookies-- It looks more like a cake. [Sorry this is about as exciting as it gets right now. The camera people are feeling the excitement as well, there's lots of zooming in an out on things an the sound going way up an down.

3:35PM BBT: Daniele sitting at the table looking unhappy. Dick is rocking out in the shower.   Dick asks Daniele what time she got up. Daniele: "12:00." Dick: "Your hair looks nice." Daniele: "Thank you."

3:45PM BBT: Daniele is back in bed.

Dick in round room putting boots on. He heads out to kitchen and grabs his shades off the counter and then pours himself some Sprite before going outside for a smoke. A few coughs, spits and a burp, then he says how sore he is. He is finished with his cigarette and we're at 3:53PM BBT.

4:00PM BBT: Dick goes inside down to Daniele laying in bed and asks her if she is OK. She says, "You keep asking me if I'm alright. I told you I don't feel good." Dick "I know that's why I wondered if you're OK."

Dick goes to SR room looking around, "I thought we had steak"

Dick is in the bathroom shaving. Then to his room and fixes and sprays his hair. Now in BY either filing or taking off the polish on his thumb. (the camera shot is from across the patio so I can't tell exactly) Out of the blue Dick says, "Still a fuckin pain in the ass" 4:15PM.

4:20PM BBT: Dick goes back inside for a minute then back outside and lights up a smoke. He's shaking up the nail polish bottle and pulls a muscle in his shoulder. "Ay chiahua", he says.

4:30PM BBT: Dick "We won, we won, we won." "It hasn't sunk in yet."
Now Dick is painting his nails.
Dick laughing, "that's disastrous"
Dick laughing "...and Jameka called my momma a bitch..." he laughs some more.

4:50PM BBT: Dick gets up says "What time is it? Come on, Let's get the fuckin' show on the road, come on!" He opens the patio doors to see it's almost 5:00PM. "I thought it would have been done a long time ago" (Me too)
"I'm hungry...no wonder it's almost 5"
Dick sitting on BY couch again blowing his nails dry.
Dick gets up and goes inside goes into DR and we hear him say "Just a quick question" and we get FotH at 4:54

4:55PM BBT: Feeds are back Dick uses bathroom, washes his hands and stops by Daniele's room to check on her. Asks her if she wants anything to eat or drink or him to rub her back. She says "no" and he says "just let me know if you need anything" and he leaves.

5:05PM BBT Dick in BY playing solitaire.   Daniele is up. She uses bathroom, washes her hands and starts picking at her face. Leaves to go to storage room gets something (tampons I think) and comes back to the bathroom. Now she is touching up her makeup and then heads out to kitchen.

5:10PM BBT:   Daniele walks outside and does something really quick (I didn't see exactly what but she lifted something up right outside of the sliding door) and went back inside without saying anything to Dick. Dick notices she's up so he comes inside and says "I'll just make myself a sandwich if you're not hungry"

Daniele says "I wish they would have told us that so I didn't get ready 12 hours ahead of time"
(Sounds like the jury questions will be later tonight)

Daniele says she's "really pissed" "I'm sure, why do they need to wait 'til it gets dark to ask us questions?" "That's stupid"
Dick: "Well they must need it dark at the jury house" "There's some reason" "Something we haven't seen on TV" "We just never noticed it before" and we get FotH.

It was a quick FotH and feeds come back with Dick and Daniele talking about what the questions will be.
Daniele "who will have the stupidest question?"
Dick says "Jen" and Daniele says "no Zach's will be the stupidest"
Daniele says she sees a lot of Dick's question's being about him being such a jerk.
They are discussing if Eric and Jessica will be angry and will they be able to get over the fact that Dick and Daniele turned on them.

5:20PM BBT: Dick and Daniele are still speculating about what people's questions will be. Zach's will probably be something about himself. Jen's too, of course. Daniele ask what will Amber's be? Dick replies that, "God only knows."

Daniele says the control center is that room up by the HoH and it's three stories; Dick asks how she knows that. No satisfactory answer.

Daniele says that Jen's question will be something like "What is my favorite movie?", or "I'm gonna vote for the one who knows me the best." She says someone's gonna have an off-the-wall question like that and Dick says he can see it being Jen.They're just sitting at the round table eating and speculating and waiting.

A comment on the view: They're sitting at the round table which is tucked into the corner where it was when Daniele was listening to Dick and Zach in the final HoH. There's something shiny off to their right at floor level that looks sort of like a stage; I can't figure out what it is. Daniele commented earlier that it wasn't fair that the jury will be able to see them during the questions but they won't be able to see the jury. They were also speculating about whether in the final show the jury will come back into the house and they'll be sitting in the hot seats; there's room for twelve on the other couches.

5:45PM BBT: (Popping in and out; might have missed something.) Daniele's sitting on the floor of her room rummaging in her bag, Dick heading into his room where a red shirt is laid out on the bed. Dick moves the shirt, straightens the bedspread, and stretches out. No one talking; not much going on; they seem to be just waiting...

5:55PM BBT: Both houseguests sleeping.

7:30PM BBT: Daniele is up and goes to use the bathroom, washes hands and touches up her makeup and plugs in the curling iron.   She goes to kitchen and looks like she's getting one of her cookie bars that she made earlier and a drink. She sits down at the counter area and is eating some (really red) Fritos. Dick laying on bed in round room, sleeping I think.

7:45 PM BBT: Daniele is curling her hair again. Dick sleeping soundly again.

7:50PM BBT: A quick FotH then right back (Wake up call??) Dick is getting up., sitting on the edge of his round bed and cracking his neck.   Moments later he's outside smoking. Daniele still curling her hair.

8:00PM BBT: Daniele finished her hair (only 15 minutes this time) and is touching up her eye makeup now. Dick comes in, Daniele says, "I want to get this stupid thing over." Dick says, "Four more hours." (until jury questions) and then "I thought I slept longer than I did" Dick heads off to use the bathroom and washes his hands.

Daniele says, "They've been playing the BB song for over an hour and I can't figure out where it's coming from and it's driving me crazy." (join the club)

8:10PM BBT Dick asks Daniele if she's nervous. She says "No, I just want this stupid thing to be over." (she's referring to the jury questions which will be right after Showtoo tonight-approx 12 midnight BBT) "I don't feel good and I want to go to bed."

Dick says "I can see people really being nervous about this part of the game in the past."

A loud noise is heard from upstairs and they both stop their card game and look up. Dick says "I think they took over the HoH" "I heard a lot of noises up there last night, it was like construction sounds, ya know what I mean" (actually it was this morning and I didn't realize he could hear it because he wasn't yelling at them to shut up like he usually does)

They have been playing cards silently for five minutes when Dick says, "That's quite a comeback from only two cards"
Daniele says, "They probably have to wait until 12 because it's after Showtime" (to start the jury questions)
Dick, "that's exactly what I was thinking"

More silence as card game continues.

8:30PM BBT: Dick and Daniele are playing war at the kitchen table.

9:00 BBT: Daniele: "If you're actually watching, get a life." Dick: "Yeah, what she said." Daniele: "Or at least better taste in television." (I'm not actually watching as my feeds are frozen, but from the audio they seem to be cooking.) On to Zach bashing.

Speculating on whether Jen's wearing the unitard around the sequester house. Daniele was surprised she wasn't wearing it on that video. Suggested that she'll end up selling it on eBay. Who'd want to buy it? Zach. Dick highlights the posting: "Big Brother eight red unitard worn by star of show with no panties. Crust included."   Mention that Will sold his big brother bag on eBay and got a few hundred dollars for it; three hundred something. They're surprised it wasn't for more. Joking about Jen starting her Jenius clothing line. They seem to think that one of her phrases (possibly Jenuine) already had a clothing line or website by someone else and Jen has now ruined it.

9:25PM BBT: Dick outside smoking, Daniele leaning back in her chair at the round table, apparently zoning out. (Don't know if/when they'll do the questions at this point but I have to be up early. Hope someone else is around to keep an eye on things!)

Ok well Daniele and Dick playing war still, now there talking about past competitions. Dick talking about being locked up with Jen in the HoH room and how awful it was. Now Daniele is in a mood, she won't play a game with Dick. All she keeps saying is NO, he keeps trying to convince her to play something. Daniele says wake me up on Thursday and tell me if I won. Dick said why you don't want to know if I won. Feed one is Dick playing with the dice. Feed two empty kitchen table, Feed three washroom, I'm thinking Daniele is in there. Feed four bathroom. Not much going on.

Dick playing with the dice, he just said two more hours till Jury questions. Daniele just left the washroom moaning............these last days are killing her.
Dick asked her what do you want to do, she said nothing............he said I'm bored and your bored lets do something. Now talking about asking bb if they can have a movie. They are kinda arguing. Almost to much to listen to.

10:15PM BBT: First round of speed over Dick won. Started second game of speed. Daniele won. Dick said he doesn't like this game as she always wins. Daniele said but you just won. Ok now they are going to play war. Dick and Daniele are looking at the ceiling talking about the lights.

10:30PM BBT: "Did you use that hair stuff they gave you?" Dick asked Daniele. Daniele said she did but when Dick asked if it worked, Daniele said, "Not really," sounding annoyed.
Daniele" "I'm gonna go lay down." heads to her room..
Dick uncharacteristically quiet considering its Showtime, a lot of heavy sighing, "Why can't she be happy man? It's over done we won! I can understand not feeling well, but God dang."

10:45PM BBT: Daniele in the room resting while Dick is outside lying down of the patio couch. "How is it that my bigger concern is my fucked up relationship with my daughter than the money. I guess it's pretty easy. " Dick tells us/cameras

Dick has not uttered a word, cough or spat once in over five minutes, he's just laying there. Eventually he gets up and goes inside to the round room for a nap.

11:00PM BBT: Stress and tensions are running high as both Daniele and Dick are both napping/resting in their respective rooms....nothing going on...at all at the moment

11:25PM BBT: Dick is jolted out of bed by a very loud BB announcement, "Dick, please go the Diary Room." Dick, still half asleep, I'll be right there." He heads off to the DR, making a pit stop the the bathroom first. The announcement woke up Daniele as she heads to the kitchen first peeking into one of the mirrored windows.

11:30PM BBT: Dick says BB "Wanted us up and perky." BB tells them they can pick what order they want to do their statements, he tells Daniele, "You can go first." asking her if that was alright.....she shrugs a "Yes." Daniele continues to do her hair as BB warns her to "center your microphone"

Dick heads outside and is smoking. "Two more days and it's over, everything is over." Dick tells us/cameras

11:45PM BBT: Daniele still working on her hair/makeup in the bathroom while Dick is in the round room assembling just the right Q & A outfit of a bright red shirt over a wife beater and ripped jeans. There are no conversations at all right now as Dick moves into the kitchen to take out the trash.

Daniele tells Dick "Don't say anything about my age please." Dick agrees as he pulls out a giant trash bag to put in the tiny trash can in the kitchen.

Both just nervously trying to kill the time, Dick heads to the bathroom once again while Daniele finds something to snack on.

11:55PM BBT: Both seem to ready. Dick is in the kitchen to drinking some soda then heads to the hot seat in the living room where Daniele is waiting in hers waiting for the questions. Dick: "These chairs aren't all that comfortable" Daniele: "Are you going to still say that to Jen?" Dick saying her question will "be all about her." Daniele says she'll ask "What movie is your favorite movie" or ask how she's ranked on America's favorite "and whoever gets the higher number gets her vote."

Dick: "It's weird we don't get to see them" Daniele: "That's stupid. It couldn't be that hard if they get to see us." Dick is fiddling with his mic. Daniele pensively, "This is awkward I don't want to talk to them anyway. We evicted them it should be over." Dick: "I know. Dustin's question is probably going to be snotty." Daniele: "Oh duh."
