Big Brother 8 Daily Coverage

After Midnight... With Daniele off the block, Dick is friendly and cordial again. Dick explained to everyone that he wanted to come off as offensive as possible so that they'd keep Daniele and vote him out. Last night, BB gave the HGs a party in honor of them making it half way through the season. They got lobster and shrimp, they had cake and ice cream. Everyone let their guard down for a while and had a good time.

On the patio, Dick and Zach are talking about rock bands and Daniele says she's going inside because she can not stand Dick dropping names and saying he's friends with all of them. Dick says, "But Daniele, this is my genre, I can't help it." Daniele: "Yeah, well I told you before I don't like it. And when you're done pick up that pile of names you dropped."

The subject switches from music to movies and why Rip Torn is in movies, "I mean who is he?" Dick says he was in both Jackass movies and Zach says he was also in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. They continued this confusing conversation for about 15 minutes until they must have finally heard me yelling at my monitor, because Dick realized he was talking about Rip Taylor and Zach was talking about Rip Torn. Dick tries to explain who Rip Taylor is, "Do you know who Charles Nelson Reilly is? From The Match Game? OK, then Paul Lynde on Bewitched he played a cousin, or an uncle, he was a warlock?" Zach heard of Bewitched but only knew of the two main characters. They continue talking about movies and getting the actors confused.

12:45AM BBT: Outside, Dick and Zach are talking about robotics while Daniele is laying down and dying of boredom. Zach asks Dick if he's ever been to Burning Man, he hasn't, neither has Zach. They'd both like to go. [Britney Petros of BB1 was a big fan of the Burning Man festival.]

In the bedroom, the rest of the HGs are playing their truth game. Dustin just admitted that he's "sucked dick for money," $20 and a collective "You're gross!" is heard.

1:00AM BBT: Dick is talking about going to "the armpit of California," Dick couldn't remember the name of the city and Zach says "Fresno?" and Dick says yes "Fresno, the armpit of California." Zach says he's never been there and Dick says then don't. Next they both start ragging on Needles, Ca.. Zach is saying a friend got arrested and that's where they took him when they were at the river. Talk goes back to movies.

1:20AM BBT: Daniele is tired and grumpy because the other HGs are playing their game and being loud in her bedroom. Dick says he's going to bed and asks her if she wants to sleep in his room as the game is too loud. Daniele declines. Dick's in the round room and tells the group good night and it was really fun tonight.

1:45AM BBT: The game ends and Dustin, Eric, Amber, Jen and Jameka move to the kitchen. Dick, Zach and Daniele have gone to bed.

3:00AM BBT: Everyone's asleep.

10:40AM BBT: BB woke the HGs up, Dick was on the BY couch talking to himself. 12:10PM BBT: Daniele is up and heads outside as Eric runs past her and is streaking in the BY, she wasn't impressed. Dustin, Dick, Jen, Zach and Daniele are all in the BY talking about his member... Dustin: "You could see that thing when he was running from the back." Dick: "Ha ha ha, funny shit man!" See the video [It's quad cam and it's the tail end of it]

Eric went in and got dressed, went to get batteries in the SR, and then went back out. Zach said he was a man of his word. Eric was accused of "fluffing', and Jen asked what that was. They explained various ways, but basically it is getting partially erect before whatever.

They can't believe Jessica is still asleep. Dick said why, she sleeps 14 hour a day. They are talking about the party last night, and that it started early so it could make ShoToo. Not much talking now. Talk resumes of Eric's streaking. Eric said he didn't want a gawking audience, so he surprised them. He did a good lap, and then grabbed his shorts. They said they didn't realize his shorts were there, or they would have grabbed them. He said that is why he did it unannounced.

Jen asked if Eric was feeling better. He said he thought it was food poisoning. He is glad it isn't the flu, and he would be sick for 10 days. He is blaming the steak, as he is the only one who ate it. [Just Eric's cover story] Claims he must have lost 10 pounds, it was like having 5 enemas.

Jen said today is hair day. Eric said he will wait for them, then. Dustin said he needs to re-do his hair, but not sure if they will give them to him since he isn't HoH today.

Now talk of the weather.

12:25PM BBT: Jameka and Jessica are chatting in the HoH. Jessica is fun-angry that she missed Eric's streak. They say they should ignore him since he did it without them there to see. Dustin joins and says he saw it and that Eric was semi-hard no matter what he says.

Jameka went into HoH room and just told Jessica that they missed Eric streaking. Jessica thought they were lying, just to get to them. Jameka said it was about 20 minutes ago. That is what woke her up. Jessica said he is a rat, and she is going to ignore him all day. (Jokingly). Jessica's voice is a little hoarse.

Jameka said it is 12:30 and Jessica said that isn't too bad. Jess thinks she slept with the lights on because she was really tired. They are still complaining they missed it. Jessica mentioned her voice, and Jameka said maybe it is changing into a woman's voice.

Dustin comes in. Says he saw the whole thing. He said no matter what Eric said he was semi-hard. Jameka wants to know how big it was, on the curling iron, and Dustin showed her. Dustin commented that there was a lot there to work with, especially for such a little man. Dustin said he came out, dropped his shorts, did a circle around the yard, then back into his shorts.

Jessica goes outside and Eric is talking to her, saying he can arrange a private showing for her. She says, “No thanks.” He said he didn't know Jessica wasn't out there. Dick says, “Come on, she never gets up that early.” He said he knew Zach and Daniele were up, because they weren't in the room anymore. Dick says, “The nickname tripod is accurate.” Dick said he feels bad for "the poor bastard," talking about Zach, when he watches the show and everyone is ribbing him about being so small. They said Jameka took a banana into the DR and cut off the stem to show what Zach looked like.

Dick said Dustin gave him (Eric) a standing ovation for his streaking. Dustin said he could see it flapping from behind; there was a lot to take in from many angles. Eric said Jessica saw it yesterday, up close. Dick asked "Up close?" And Eric said he was taking a shower yesterday with Jessica standing next to him and didn't realize the glass wasn't frosted. (HoH isn't, downstairs is) Dick and Jen both confirm the glass isn't. Dustin said he got to know Dick better when he was HoH.

Now talking about ingrown toenails. Surgery is possible to help, Jameka isn't sounding very happy with that. Dick is being congenial with the HGs outside. Jen is eating slop, and said "another day of tanning". No comment. Dick said as much as people lay out, there should be some dark MF'ers in there. Eric said his face was really red yesterday.

Talking about Eric's mic pack. Dick said "Is that your mic pack or are you really glad to see me?" Eric said it is his mic pack.

Talking about the stench from last night's trashcan. Said it smelled like rotten meat. There was some horrid turkey in it. Dick took it outside, so they think that is why it stinks.

12:50PM BBT: Eric, Jen and Dick are on the couches in the BY talking about music and Eminem. He was one of the morning songs. (There were 5 or six) Jessica is lying out with Dustin. She asked how long they had been out, he said not long, maybe 10 minutes. Jessica said she is going to do her roots tonight.

Jen said musicians don't make the money they used to. Dick said what are you talking about? He said they get money touring, plus all the merchandise they sell at each show. They also have VIP ticket packages that are really high. Dick said don't kid yourself; they still sell a lot of CD's. (Jen must only download). Dick is explaining how they have to get started.

1:10PM BBT: Jameka and Amber are upset at Eric because they didn’t get to see him streaking either. Eric and Dick are explaining that it wasn’t a planned thing. Eric apologizes and Dick says, “Wow you have to apologize for streaking, how demanding.” Amber says, “It's the principal.” Eric says, “Well, there’s nothing I can do about it now can I?” Dick says, "You can do it again." Amber says, "Nuh Uh! I don’t wanna see."

Zach is lying out with Daniele, Dustin and Jessica. He keeps droning on about how to gain muscle mass and the formula of protein to calories. [Blah, blah, blah] Jessica gets up to get something from inside. Amber stops her at the sliding glass door, and starts complaining about someone. Couldn't hear who, but she sounded pissed. [With Amber it could be anyone…] Amber went on out, and Jess did whatever she was heading to do.

Dick is cooking slop, Jameka is eating at the counter, and Zach comes in to make something to eat. Dick has been complaining about the ants, and no paper towels. Dick is talking about how much food Mike ate and that Zach can't match it. Dick tells Zach to look out the window; they make fun of Jen, her "nanny" bit, and saying she sits so people can look up her dress or whatever. They aren't buying into her act.

1:25PM BBT: Amber went back to bed. She was only up about 35 minutes. Jameka went upstairs and is in the HoH bed, reading her bible. Daniele, Jessica and Dustin are on chaise lounges. Daniele and Dustin said something about the ODA, (Open door alliance) and Dustin said they are done. Daniele says, “No, Jen and Zach are still here.” Dustin says, “Zach is the leader.”

Dustin is saying he doesn't know why Eric has so much laundry. Jessica said he sweats through his clothes. Dustin said he went into the DR after Eric and the seat was so warm it was almost moist.

1:50PM BBT: Zach is laying outside with Jessica. Everyone else is inside. He is talking game with her, about Jen then about Dustin, and how he can't be trusted. He said to be careful. He can see things backfiring on Jessica down the road if Dustin stays because he is so shady.

Zach brings up that in the PoV comp Dustin took money and a trip, and screwed over Jameka. He also went against the group. He lied to Dick in front of everyone, and then said in the backyard that he did vote to keep Eric. Zach again tells her to stay aware. Jess asked if he thought Dustin was bringing Amber down. He said he thought Dustin uses the fact she is emotional, and plays on that. Dustin influences her decisions, and votes. He said he is sure she is capable of voting for herself, but Dustin is definitely the thinker of the two of them. He said Amber really wanted to keep Nick in, and if she would have voted the way she wanted, it might have been possible to keep him. Zach said Amber has cried on him telling him she made a mistake, and that Nick was a good person.

Zach said to think down the road of the choices she has to live with. She needs to keep her options open. Zach said he likes the fact he makes decisions on choices he can live with. He thinks Jessica has a chance to be valuable in the game. Jessica said she is glad her decisions are over with, unless it comes down to a tie. Zach said Dustin is just such a pain in the ass, and he is turning into the new Joe, making friends with everyone. Zach doesn't like it. Jessica had commented that she thinks everyone has his number. Jessica said he is just going to bury himself. Zach said he already has unless they let him get by with it. Dustin is a loose cannon.

Jess asked Zach how late he was up. He said he went to bed around 1:30, she said she went to bed early. He said they were playing games in the little room, and they finally got the hint and moved on.

Zach moves back to Dustin. He warns her not to be fooled by him putting himself up against Dick. She said she knew that, but she felt anyone going up against Dick would be safe, didn't he think so. He said he doesn't know, but to not be swayed by his volunteering to go up.

They start talking about the last song that morning, "sunglasses at night" and start singing. FotH

Jessica said she is going inside for a while. Zach said Dustin and Jameka are in the HoH room. He said to be careful. Dustin has such an attitude, like Kail, and look where she is. Jessica gets up and goes inside.

2:05PM BBT: Zach goes inside with Jess and gets something to drink. She gets out some vitamins, and he asks for some too. They are talking about Eric again, and how she missed him streaking. She is saying she might not play beer pong tonight. He said Eric wants to get rid of the booty shorts and cleaning, and they told him to talk to his partner. He said she is mad at me. She said oh yeah.

Zach goes back outside and is talking to Dick about ants. Dick said it looks like they have about 60 eyes.

Zach said he is trying to keep his weight down. They feel Dustin and Eric don't have any weight to put on, Dick has stayed about the same and Zach has lost weight. They said the girls have all gained. Jen for sure, Jessica has put a little on, Amber definitely, and maybe Jameka.

Zach is telling Dick about his conversation with Jessica (which he told her was just between them). He said she isn't sure about Zach's vote, and he reminded her about the crap that Dustin has pulled. He has sold out a team for prizes, he would sell out a person, and he will do whatever he needs to in order to stay in. Zach said what a face he would make if he got voted out. Zach said he is rolling around in his head the numbers if Dick stays with Jen, Dick, Daniele, himself and possibly Eric. He said that would be a risk he would have to take. He said the consequences if Dick stayed would be Jessica hating him because she couldn't trust Zach.

2:15PM BBT: Zach said Dick has to campaign to Jessica the benefits of keeping Dick over Dustin. Dick said he could be a lot more help than Dustin. Dick said Zach needs to pitch it to her because he can't. He can give scenarios, but he can't confront her, as he gave his word about his vote. He will vote Dick out unless she releases him from it. Zach is saying it would be better to have Dick on his side than Jessica, but he doesn't think there are any numbers. If it is a tie, and Jessica has to break it, then they are not sure how she would vote. She doesn't want to lose favor with her group. They will try to get Eric to keep Dick.

Eric comes out and the subject changes, talking about how many eyes a fly has. They are working too hard at covering what they were talking about. Eric asked where everyone is. The girls and Dustin are upstairs, Daniele is taking a nap, and so is Jen. Eric wants to play beer pong with Zach now, as he is really bored. Not sure what they will play for. Lots of maneuvering. They're going to play pong, and decide what to play for later. They invite Dick to play. They are going to play with water. Lots of big talking about who will win, and who has won. They go inside where it is cooler. Dick has never played before, so he wanted to play the loser. Zach said Dick could play first against Eric, and Zach will play the winner.

2:30PM BBT: Jessica tells Eric that Zach told her that the vote will be tied, 3:3. Eric explained why he didn't wait for them to be around to do his streaking (he didn't know who was outside, didn't want to announce it, etc.), she said she was only jokingly mad at him. It's not that they wanted to "see" him, it's that they just felt left out. He says Amber was really pissed telling him that she sees where his alliances are now. Eric cannot believe they (Jameka / Amber) are making such a big "game" thing out of it. Jess said she understands and didn't think that at all, she just felt left out since everyone else was there. They are good on that and then she tells him that when Dick spoke to her yesterday, it wasn't just an apology, it was game talk, and she fills him in on that and what Zach spoke to her about today. Eric told her that Dick said he wanted to talk to him (Eric) after the beer pong game. They were just updating each other, still on the same page, still only trusting each other. Eric tells Jessica that Dick admitted to lying last week in his attempt to get Eric evicted (Dick said no such thing),

3:10PM BBT: Beer pong intermission. Eric folds laundry and Dick goes outside for a smoke. 3:30PM: Beer pong resumes. See the Video

4:05PM BBT: Zach and Dick talk and Dick says Zach should go to try for Jen's vote. Zach said to just make sure it doesn't hurt Daniele in the game. Zack and Dick talked about how dumb Jen is and how she would mess it up. Eric and Jessica talk about the vote. Jessica says she just does not want to make anyone mad at her.

5:20PM BBT: Dustin asks Eric if he's heard anything about Dick campaigning to get him evicted. Eric says he has heard but there's no threat to Dustin, no one is even considering flipping the vote and they both agree it's just Dick doing the required attempt to stay in the house. Dustin: "Look, I don't know why you're even showing him the courtesy of listening to him. When he comes up to you and says, 'Can I talk game with you?' tell him 'no.' Because you know it leads to the name game, with him running around saying, 'I've got so-and-so's vote.' But you can stop that before it starts."

It's the wake up with Dick show.

"Oooh! You're so scary, all 150 pounds of you. "

Not everyone will play as hard as the other.

Tonight's Broadcast: At the nomination, Jessica said, "I nominated you, Dick, and you, Daniele, for eviction this week. Last week, you guys tried to pull off getting Eric out. I'm close with Eric. This is basically me coming back at you. I'm giving you the opportunity to compete for Power of Veto and save yourself. If you really want to be here." After the meeting Eric tells Jessica, "I really liked the touch of 'I'm giving you both the opportunity to play in the veto because I think that is both true and also a nice little... poke as well. Regardless of who wins, one of them is going home."

The next morning Dick continues his campaign to be evicted with an early morning wake-up call by banging pots and pans in everyone's ears and then the verbal attack began. "Good morning, Amber! [in a mocking bimbo voice] Cigars! Cigarettes? Cocktails? Isn't it sad? And that's that? And that's that! You are a disaster on two legs. Eric, how about you, my friend? [to Eric] You're the biggest liar, manipulator. You've got everybody working. You will be joining me in sequester soon! Don't you want to kick my ass right now? Oooh! You're so scary, all 150 pounds of you. Oh! I'm so scared! Oh, my god! And Dustin is a liar. We saw that with Joe. So, I'll just get him to ( bleep ) and a liar. Good morning, Eric! Oh, princess. How is your morning? How is it waking up to pots and pans in your ear? [to Amber:] You are one ugly bitch. I promise, on the life of your daughter, I am going to make you so miserable every ( bleep ) day that you're going to regret ever seeing me. You are such a liar! [to Jameka:] Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Let's pray. You save her, Jameka, even though you don't even know how to save yourself. Who-ho! Help me, Jesus, help me Lord."

The PoV Contest: "In our wicked, wicked forests there are ten stations. Each station has a drink specially prepared for you by Big Brother. The number of stations you complete will determine the number of shots you get in the game of croquette. The more shots that you're able to drink of the Big Brother concoctions, the more strokes you will get in the game of croquette." The concoctions were things like: bacon, egg, and orange juice, maple syrup, blood, steak, broccoli, etc.. Zach drank three, Jameka downed four, Jessica drank five, Daniele drank seven and Dustin and Dick tied at ten. Each player's performance at hitting the croquette ball was pretty much in proportion to their performance drinking the mixtures. It was down to Dustin and Dick, with the final shot, Dick won the PoV.

Jameka and most of the others hold Daniele partially responsible to the behavior of her father. This leads to a clearing of the air in the HoH, but in a DR scene, Daniele confesses that her performance was staged and part of her strategy.

Dustin volunteers to go up as the replacement nomination. Jen suggests to Jessica that Dustin and Dick have a deal.

Eric failed at giving Jessica the silent treatment causing Jessica to suspect Eric of having a side deal. Jessica was very shaken up over this.

At the PoV meeting Dick chose to use the PoV to save Daniele and Jessica nominated Dustin as the replacement. From the DR, a very confident Dustin remarks, [Sarcastically] "I'm really nervous. Oh, I feel so fine being up against Dick! You know, there's always a twinge of a risk, but in this situation I don't feel it, let me tell you that one." Dick is also happy and remarks, "I'm very happy, yes, I am. I'm thrilled. How many times have we seen in this game the pawn go home?"

6:45PM BBT: Jameka and Amber are in the hammock talking about Dick's campaign to stay in the house. It's the usual dialog about him being the Devil, not being able to stand him.

7:10PM BBT: All four cameras are on Daniele and Dick in the round room. Daniele is grumpy and pouty. Dick is playing the Ward Cleaver role and keeps trying to ask questions to keep her mind off whatever's bothering her. She acts like she's annoyed by Dick's endless supply of queries, but I think she wants the attention. "Like-- what are you thinking right now?" Dick asks her. "Why?" She answers him. "Your thoughts amuse me--" Dick tells her. "My thoughts are not for you amusement." Dick: "You really won't tell me?" She says "no" and Dick seems really surprised. They talk about going to Disneyland when she gets out. "What ride would you like to go on first?" Dick asks her.

The feeds switch to the hammock where Dustin and Eric joined Jameka and Amber. Amber says Dick better not approach her because she'll stop him cold. They talk about Zach and Jen. Amber thinks they're trying to make friends this week so as to not get nominated next week. Dustin says to him Jen and Zach's actions are really up and down, so they need to figure out what are their real intentions. Amber goes inside. Then Dick comes out and the conversation breaks. Eric says that their mission is to determine what the others intentions are, "I can't believe their plan is to just sit around and let us vote them out one at a time-- with each one waving goodbye, 'See ya later, good luck!'"

Eric cut his hair. They comment that Zach has "a date" with Jessica tonight. Eric (jokingly) wants to know why she's dating the enemy.

8:25PM BBT: The feeds switch to the HoH room bathroom, where Dustin's using the clippers on his arm pits. He cleans up the hair from the floor. Amber returns from the DR and is annoyed that Dustin didn't notice she was gone. Amber's going to go work out. Jessica is off to her date with Zach.

9:15PM BBT: Amber, Jen, Jameka, and Dustin have come downstairs to the kitchen to feed on tacos. They chat with Zack as he puts on a dress shirt and readies for his hammock date with Jess. Dick moves back outside with Daniele. It seems they are all aware that it is ... ShowTime!

9:35PM BBT: Zach's on his date with Jessica. Zach is really rambling on about game things and trying to plant seeds that Dustin could have side deals.

Meanwhile... In the HoH room, Dustin and Eric are talking about their goodbye messages to Dick. They both say that with Dick being the first one in sequester they shouldn't have said what they said. "Well, I really didn't say anything bad, I just told him like it is..." Dustin goes on to list all the mistakes he feels Dick made.

10:15PM BBT: Jessica hasn't budged, Zach gave her his word that he'd vote Dick out, and Jessica's not letting him off the hook. Zach wants to know what happens if someone in her group votes to evict Dustin, will she believe that he kept his word. And another issue Zach presents to Jessica is, "What happens if the vote is 3:3, then if you can't trust your group, maybe you'd want to not vote Dick out." Jessica agrees for a moment that if it's 3:3, then maybe it would be better to vote Dustin, then she reconsiders that with Eric and Dustin not trusting each other, and being so competitive towards each other, Dustin and Eric will take care of themselves by being each other's target.

As much as Zach keeps telling Jessica that he hates Dick because he's blasphemous, offensive to the women and mothers, etc., he takes the focus off him by keeping him off the radar, and she might want to make a deal with him. [Zach's argument is completely transparent and Jessica sounds like a mother listening to a young child telling one of those long stories.] 10:45PM Zach's still talking.

10:55PM BBT: The conversation is really boring, so here's what they're saying: Zach and Daniele are on the patio talking and Daniele's microphone isn't working. They're talking about their wagers for beer pong. BB calls Daniele to the SR to get a new mic.

Inside Eric, Daniele, and Zach are about to begin another game of beer pong. Eric says he's 5'7" and talking about how everyone is taller, "All the guys are six feet and over" and basically talking he's a pip-squeak. They are getting the beers ready.

Upstairs they are talking about hair being better dirty when you dye, than clean. [The oils protect you hair, the dirt makes the color deeper? ]

Amber says she loves the BB voice because it's been saying "thank you" and Dustin says, "He's trying to raise the level of respect in the house."

Jen says that Dick took his chocolate syrup and she hopes he leaves it when he's evicted.

Back downstairs the game is ready and Daniele says, "We're starting small" and Eric says they are working off the debt. Zach asks what could they wager and Jameka has no opinion.

Daniele asks if they have any ideas and Dick suggests Jessica has shoelaces tied to Eric's nipple rings and they pull him around all day.

Back in the HoH Jen says Zach can't win HoH and Dustin says that he's enjoying Zach more and Jen says he's "less creepy." They continue to talk about how everyone seems to have grown while in the house.

Eric says that the loser could switch clothes for 24 hrs and Zach says "We're getting gypped." Zach says the clothes aren't a big deal and out of good faith that's a deal.

11:30PM BBT: Still dull. Outside Jameka is alone on the hammock looking rather pensive and crying. She is praying and you can hear parts about, "Forgive me of my sins..." "Forgive me of my mouth.." "Thank you for the blood.." "Thank you for your strength..." "Yes Lord Yes Lord.. " "Hear my cry O Lord.." "I trust you God.." "

11:55PM BBT: Jameka continues her prayers and now she's praying for Amber and Dustin. Jameka asks the Lord to "release your angels" for "E. D." and asks for love for Daniele, "her grandma and Vincent." "Help her through her time of need," Jameka continues. She hopes that Kail may have learned something. "Please be with Nick, I'm sorry if I did anything to wrong him." "Please be with Mike God." "Please be with Zach God, bless him with his job he loves so much, and being able to get up and go to work and make a substantial amount of money. And Joe, continue to surround him with your love. Be with Carol and everything at home is well and her life isn't so mundane." "Please be with Eric, continue to love on him, maybe somehow and someway he'll be a follower of Christ."
