The houseguests were admitted to the BB house on July 4th.  Prior to this they were sequestered in a hotel with a "handler" that makes sure there's no contact with the other houseguests, their family, and the press.  This year, I've been told they even did "test sequesters" to see how the potential HGs would deal with confinement.

Ronnie, Laura, Russell and Kevin were the first to enter the house and pick their rooms.  Chima,  Braden, Casey and Natalie were next.    Jordan, Jeff,  Michelle and Lydia  were next  and got the room with the swimming pool motif, and inflatable furniture.  During introductions, Natalie lied to the group and told them she's only 18, not everyone believed it.  Michele played down her achievements by telling the others she's a lab assistant. 

Julie welcomed the HGs and told them about the four cliques, and the first twist, which is that each week, the winning clique, the one with the HoH,  is immune from eviction.  Julie sent the HGs to the backyard where they found out which clique they belonged to:
Braniacs: Ronnie, Michele, and Chima
Athletes: Natalie, Russell, and Jeff
Populars: Laura, Jordan, and Braden
Off-beats: Lydia, Kevin, and Casey

Next,  Julie told them they would compete for HoH, but no one in the backyard would win.  Four mystery contestant were shown in silhouette, and we were told the four are not strangers BB house.  And the mystery guests are: Michael "Cowboy,"  Jessica from BB8,  Brian from BB10, and Jessie from BB10.

The cliques competed in a wedgie endurance contest, the winning clique will get a fifth member from the mystery guest pool, Michele was out first, followed by Ronnie and Chima, Lydia dropped and that took Cowboy out of the running.  It was down to Jessie and Jessica.  In the end, the athletes won, causing Jessie to become the thirteenth HG and HoH.

9:00PM BBT:  Feeds are on!  Russell, Laura, Natalie in kitchen talking strategy.  Natalie makes a point of telling everyone she's only drinking sparkling cider, not real alcohol.  Natalie is asked Ronnie to check in they got alcohol (they didn't). Lydia and Jordan get dressed up in fancy lingerie.  The boys are in the HT. 

9:45 BBT: Jeff tells Lydia that he thinks she has the votes to stay even if the PoV isn't used. He tells her that it might be good if nobody wins the veto,  but she should try to win it.  Lydia tells him she doesn't want him to stick his neck out for her, because Jessie might be mad at it.  Lydia says she's going to win HoH. Jordon comes over to join them on the patio.

Later, in the BY, Michele,  Ronnie,  Lydia and Jordan are talking about Chima and wondering when POV comp will be.

 Inside, Natalie says how she didn't want a former HG in the house and then put on her team,  but it's funny how feelings have changed.  Kevin thinks the cliques should be called geeks, jocks, freaks and popular. Both groups (inside and out) are talking about themselves in high school.

Braden, Jessie and Russell seem to be bonding.  Braden seems to have a spiritual side, he prays and meditates.  When Jessie asks him who he'd vote out,  Braden say's he'd keep Lydia, as she has a good spirit.

10:15 BBT: Braden brought some cans of Heineken out to the people in the yard, Lydia takes one.  Jeff, brought Jordan a glass of white wine.  Natalie asked Russell if he was going to have red or white. He picked red.  (They got three bottles, apparently.)

Jordan used to work at Hooters. Jordan tells Lydia that a girl she worked with did something with Playboy and they both got to go to the Playboy mansion.  Jordan wants to be in Playboy, as a Girl Next-door.

Casey proposed a toast: "To the season so nice - they named us number one twice" (11, get it? LOL)

10:30PM BBT:  Everyone is just hanging out socializing.  Casey, Kevin, Lydia and Jordan are on the patio,  Jeff joins them and Laura follows.  Jessie, Michele, Natalie, and Russell are in the HT. 

Natalie was getting complimented on how flat her stomach is by people around the hot tub. (She’s the one that lied about her age.)  She said, “When I’m 24 I’ll probably still look like this.”  

Casey (to Jordan):  "Would you ever date outside of your race?"
Jordan:  "I like men of light colored skin."
Casey: "Yes or No?"
Jordan:  "I kinda--" 
Casey: "Yes or No?"
Jordan:  "I guess... No."

Casey goes on to how he likes woman of color and that his wife is half Filipino.  Casey thinks former MTV VJ Downtown Julie Brown is beautiful, "and I just love that accent."

Jessie talks to Chima in bathroom while everybody is outside saying how she should be safe.. He tells her that Laura likes her because Chima helped her out already, and that Laura doesn't like Lydia... He says she will be safe.

11:00PM BBT:  Lydia gets Ronnie alone outside and does some campaigning.  The stress of things has gotten her and she breaks down and cries,  saying "I never wanted anyone to see me cry and think that I'm weak."  Russell comes over to comfort her.  She goes inside and Jessie goes to comfort her,  she tries to snuggle with him, she's campaigning and laying on the charm..  Lydia asks Jessie to be her snuggle buddy tonight, but Jessie asks her not to put him in that position.

12:15AM BBT:  Jessie announces to the HGs that the HoH will be Twittering this year, and he just completed his first tweet.  Since everyone's already assembled in the BY, they decide it's time for a strip-tease. It's just for fun, and the girls try to get Jeff to participate.  Natalie doesn't want any part of the game.

12:45AM BBT:  Lydia and Jordan are alone outside with Russell.  Lydia asks Russell if he's in an alliance with Jessie, Natalie, and Laura. 
Russell: "We are not an alliance, we're on a team."   Lydia tells him to look in her eyes and tell her the truth,  " But Laura's not on your team. You told me all I need to know ."

Lydia: "You betrayed me."
Russell: "I betrayed you how?"
Lydia: "You're in an alliance"
Lydia takes Russell's hand and places it on her legs.  Then she takes his other hand and places it on Jordan's leg.  Lydia:  "Feel that? How are you going to give that up?  Now you want to pick him over this?". 
Russell: "Is this the strategy of the leg?"
Lydia: "We thought we could trust you..."

1:00AM BBT:  Lydia saying she needs to go to the bathroom and asks Jordan to go with her, and she does.  Lydia tells Jordan, "You know they talk about us...". Jeff enters, "You guys being naughty?"  Lydia tells him that he and Jordan are the only ones she can trust.

Jeff brushes his teeth as Lydia continues telling him about her plan to sleep with Jessie.  Jeff laughs and Lydia says, "I'm trying to get his good graces."  She tells Jeff to get in bed with Jordan so no one will notice that Lydia's not there.   Jeff: "Are you going to jerk him off?"  Lydia: "No, it's just going to be cuddling."   Jeff realizes he needs to get closer to Jessie too. Jeff says Natalie will do whatever Jessie tells her.  They exit the bathroom.

2:00AM BBT Lydia tells Jordan that Russell told her how Chima called them sluts when we were out here playing beach volley ball in their nighties.   Jordan says "uh uh", and Lydia says "That's what Russell said."

Lydia says Jeff wont be a target because he is so laid back, Lydia says she will do whatever to keep him in because "He's so rad and chill."  [Really, that's what she said.]

Lydia says next week when she wins HoH, she's putting Natalie up for sure.  Lydia says we have to be aloof and "like, whatever about things." around Natalie, Michele and Russell, "We will just play dumb blonds.... "

Lydia thinks that Kevin can be swayed by Natalie and Laura... Jeff thinks he can get on Jessie's good side, he says, If I talk to him I can get him on your side."  They change the subject because someone walked by,  Lydia whispers,  "Sneaky bitches.

Natalie is reviewing with Chima the votes the do have to vote Lydia out.  The people to keep Chima in are Natalie, Russell, Michele, Ronnie, Laura and Casey.  Though she questions Casey’s commitment.  She then points out if Casey jumps ship then it would be 5 to 5 in voting and then Jessie would break the vote and would vote Lydia out.
