Tuesday, June 30, 2009:  Pictures of the Big Brother House

Last week CBS held a "Media Day" in the newly re-vamped Big Brother house.  Participants in the BB Media Day were sworn to secrecy...  until yesterday, when news and photos broke out all over the internet.

Please note that the people you see living in the Big Brother house are members of the press,  and are not the real houseguests of BB11.

The web site BSideBlog.com had a representative at “Media Day” and brought back a bunch of really great photos of the house,  and these videos:

Part I

Part II

Part III

Be sure to visit  BSideBlog.com for more details and links,  really good stuff.

The web site,  WeLoveBigBrother.com   had a representative at “Media Day” and was able to share a lot of information on what was true and what was not regarding the Big Brother house:

When we first entered the house, I noticed that the one big wall on the side had been changed. It had tons of plants and all the walls had been changed to different colors of plywood. It looked really cool. The interior decorating looked really nice. When I turned to my left, I noticed the kitchen had an oriental theme with Buddha statues and Chinese heirlooms.

The bathroom had its normal setup with no major changes, other than the walls looking industrial. As far as online rumors go, there were no urinals on the wall! The shower door was clear with a little portion of foggy glass so you can’t see the midriff of anyone… There was another online rumor that the sinks were had motion sensors. Jen [BB8] actually thought this was the case and waved her hands under the sink, but no water came out. Then she figured out she had to turn on the handle!

The living room still had a similar setup with two couches that were a shade of purple. There were two green nominee chairs that faced the monitor where Julie Chen talks to the houseguests. The walls were different shades of plywood. I know “plywood” doesn’t sound really nice, but it did look really cool.

You can click here for more info from WeLoveBigBrother.com  and more details on the house and “Media Day.”

Saturday, June 20, 2009:  Get the Live Feeds and Help Us Out

Unfortunately,  the economic down-turn the nation is going through has hit the budget of the Morty's TV web site.  I need your help early this year.  All that I ask is that if you subscribe to the live feeds,  you do it through this link: Get the Big Brother Live Feeds!

Each year we get advertisers that pay us commissions if you buy their product or service after clicking on their banner.  I've made a list of these companies.  Please take a look at the list and see if there's anything that you were going to buy anyway, or you might be inspired to try.  Remember, you have to click the link on the sponsors list for us to get credit for the sale.  If you're familiar with Morty's TV,  you know we don't ask for donations for services you haven't already received (because we are never sure if we'll make it through the season).

Robyn Kass, Big Brother Casting Director Answers our questions.
Want to be on Big Brother?  Ever wonder who picks those house guests?  What does the casting director look for?

Our interviewer, Yana,  took  theses questions, and many more,  to Robyn Kass,  the casting director for Big Brother.  Casting for Big Brother 11 began during the final week of Big Brother 10 and is still going strong.  With applications and video tape submissions being due by May 4, 2009 . Applicants chosen to be a finalist will go to Los Angeles, CA from which applicants will be narrowed down to a pool of forty finalists.  The first open casting call for the season will be held in Lansing, Michigan by local CBS affiliate WLNS-TV on April 1, 2009.  Various open casting calls will be conducted across the nation including Los Angeles, CA, Chicago, IL, Waverly, IA, and Columbus, OH.

Robyn: Hi fans!  Thank you so much for watching BB and for all these questions!   Please understand, there are some things I can’t answer because of confidentiality and my contract, but I’ll answer as much as I can!    -Much More-

Due to Real Networks copyright we will no long be able to post video links from the 24/7 Live Feeds on the site.
