“My Brilliant Career” Series Adaptation Now in Production in South Australia for Netflix

Production of the adaptation of Miles Franklin‘s beloved Australian novel, My Brilliant Career, from Jungle Entertainment is underway in Adelaide, South Australia.

The Netflix drama series adaptation will see Adelaide Studios and various locations across South Australia transformed for the period production.

Starring: Philippa Northeast (Territory, The Newsreader) as Sybylla; Christopher Chung (Slow Horses, Blitz) as Harry; Anna Chancellor (My Lady Jane, Outrageous) as Mrs Bossier; Genevieve O’Reilly (Andor, The Dry) as Helen; Kate Mulvany (Hunters, Elvis) as Augusta; Jake Dunn (What It Feels Like For a Girl, The Ballad of Renegade Nell) as Frank; Alexander England (Black Snow, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart) as Julius; Sherry-Lee Watson (Thou Shalt Not Steal, Heartbreak High) as Nell; Miah Madden (Paper Dolls, The Clearing) as Betty;

The creative team includes: Developed/ Written by: Liz Doran (Barons, Please Like Me); Executive Producers: Jungle’s Chloe Rickard (Good Cop/ Bad Cop, Population 11), Liz Doran, Alyssa McClelland (Amandaland, Sex Education)
