Ovation TV, America’s premier arts network, is pleased to announce the latest programming for its award-winning travel-entertainment digital channel, JOURNY. It may be full-on cold outside no matter what Groundhog Day tells us. Through a specially curated slate of new and treasured programming, here at JOURNY, imagine yourself in the warmest, most temperate climate. Streaming through the month of February, JOURNY premieres Travel Quest with Bill Ball alongside a curated selection of JOURNY favorites Travel Guides New Zealand, Chasing the Sun, David Rocco’s Dolce Napoli, and Here I Come. Beat the Winter Blues with JOURNY all month long. 

Travel Quest with Bill Ball is a fast-paced series that chases travel expert Bill Ball around the globe as he seeks out anything but the mundane and ordinary. Coming face-to-face with the largest crocodiles in the world, snorkeling with thousands of jellyfish, walking on the rim of an exploding volcano, feeding a group of sharks without a cage, bicycling across the Serengeti… this is not your typical travel show!

 Travel Guides New Zealand: follows five different groups of Kiwi travelers on their domestic escapades around the land of the long white cloud. Our travelers will become travel critics, rating and reviewing their holiday experiences in a way only Travel Guides can deliver. One person’s idea of paradise is another’s nightmare, and our opinionated travelers will be thrown out of their comfort zones as they deliver brutally honest and hilarious reviews of New Zealand’s unique tourist attractions in six jam-packed episodes.

• Chasing the Sun: follows adventure-seeker, former pro surfer, and international model Stephen Jake Friedman (The Blueprint on Fox Networks) as he travels the world. The series tells stories through the locals Stephen meets along the way. Stephen travels throughout Asia, including stops in Malaysia, Vietnam, Bali, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and India.

• David Rocco’s Dolce Napoli: David is in Naples: one the world’s oldest inhabited cities, and a treasure trove for foodies and travel junkies alike. Famous for its music, museums, and thriving arts, this Southern Italian city is also the birthplace of pizza and espresso as we know it, making it the perfect place for David to embark on a culinary adventure.

• Here I Come: Join South African model, actress, and world traveler Shamoné Jardim on her exciting solo travels through the United States. First stop is St. Pete’s and Clearwater. Follow her journey as she discovers the sights, people, food, and culture of these areas whilst making friends along the way.
