The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 11, 2015 and with it, three of the residents of Alexandria have been promoted to series regulars. According to a new report from “The Hollywood Reporter”, Tovah Feldshuh (Deanna Monroe, head of Alexandria), Alexandra Breckenridge (Jessie Anderson, Rick’s potential love interest) and Austin Nichols (Spencer Monroe, Deanna’s son) are all being kept around in the upcoming sixth season of the zombie apocalypse favorite.

But wait, there’s more! Fear the Walking Dead is the companion series and prequel to the horror series The Walking Dead, by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.
AMC approved the series pilot on March 9, 2015, with a two-season commitment: the first season comprises six episodes, the next episode airs October 4, 2015, and the second season’s 15 episodes begin at a date to be announced in 2016.
Set in Los Angeles, California the series follows a dysfunctional family composed of high school guidance counselor Madison Clark, her English teacher boyfriend Travis Manawa, her overachieving daughter Alicia, and her drug-addicted son Nick, at the onset of the zombie apocalypse. The four must either revamp themselves or cling to their deep flaws as they come to terms with the impending collapse of civilization.
AMC will launch a web series Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 in an attempt to keep interest afloat in recent entry Fear The Walking Dead. Episodes of Flight 462, each less than one minute long, will debut every Sunday, online and then on-air as promos during new episodes of The Walking Dead for the duration of upcoming season.
In addition, one of the characters featured in the web series will join the cast of the second season of Fear the Walking Dead.
