Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons Join Netflix’s Untitled Erin Foster Show

Jackie Tohn, Michael Hitchcock, Paul Ben-Victor, Sherry Cola, Shiloh Bearman, Stephanie Faracy, Tania Raymonde & Tovah Feldshuh Round Out Cast in Recurring Roles

Netflix today announced the additions of Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons to the Untitled Erin Foster Show, a new comedy series from creator and executive producer Erin Foster. They join previously announced series stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody.

A comedy centered on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman, Joanne (Kristen Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (Adam Brody).

Justine Lupe (Succession, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Mr. Mercedes) joins as “Morgan” – Joanne’s (Bell) charming-yet-cutting, quick-witted sister who doesn’t feel the need to strive for more than she already has – which happens to be a hit podcast with her sibling, built around their buzzy banter and ride-or-die commitment to being alone together.

Timothy Simons (Don’t Worry Darling, Candy, VEEP) joins as “Sasha” – Noah’s (Brody) outlandish, eccentric, delusionally confident older brother who loves living vicariously through his “golden child” sibling.

🌟 Paul Ben-Victor (Pam & Tommy, The Irishman) plays “Ilan” – Noah’s father, who also acts as his moral compass.

🌟 Sherry Cola (Good Trouble, Joy Ride) plays “Ashley” – Joanne’s lesbian, no-nonsense best friend.

🌟 Shiloh Bearman (Home Economics) plays Miriam – Sasha and Esther’s earnest teen daughter.

🌟 Stephanie Faracy (i) plays “Lynn” – Joanne and Morgan’s recently divorced mother with a New Age propensity for the mystical.

🌟 Tania Raymonde (Goliath, Lost) plays “Rebecca” – Noah’s “perfect” Jewish girlfriend who has done “everything right” to get him to propose.

🌟 Tovah Feldshuh (The Walking Dead, Funny Girl) plays “Bina” – Noah’s coldly aloof mother, a woman for whom family is everything.

Justine Lupe recently wrapped her starring role on HBO’s Emmy & Golden Globe Award Winning Drama Series, SUCCESSION. Other recent credits include a starring role opposite Mila Kunis in the Netflix film THE LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE. Justine started her career in Noah Baumbach’s film FRANCES HA, opposite Greta Gerwig and Adam Driver, and in David Chase’s NOT FADE AWAY opposite James Gandolfini and Jack Huston. She then starred in the Philip Seymour Hoffman-directed family drama A FAMILY FOR ALL OCCASIONS at the Bank Street Theater, and EMPATHITRAX at HERE Arts Center. Lupe was a series regular on the Stephen King & David E. Kelley series MR. MERCEDES and appeared for many seasons on the Emmy Award®-winning series THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL. Justine is the co-creator and star of the Adult Swim Smalls micro-series, THE NON-ESSENTIALS. Justine is a graduate of The Juilliard School.

Tim Simons came to prominence starring as Jonah Ryan on the award-winning HBO series VEEP. Most recently, Tim can be seen in DON’T WORRY DARLING alongside Florence Pugh, Chris Pine, Harry Styles, and Olivia Wilde. He was previously seen in Hulu’s CANDY with Jessica Biel and Melanie Linskey and Patrick Somerville’s STATION ELEVEN for director Hiro Murai. Past film credits include Paul Thomas Anderson’s INHERENT VICE, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s THE INTERVIEW, Antonio Campos’ CHRISTINE, and Randall Park’s SHORTCOMINGS.
