Experience The Great British Adventure This October on JOURNY

 Ovation TV, America’s premier arts network, is pleased to announce the October 2023 stunt and curated programming for its award-winning travel-entertainment digital channel, JOURNY. After getting a Halloween fix with some of the creepiest homes hit by paranormal activity in Ghost Dimension, take the British road less traveled with some of England’s finest adventurers (Ben Fogle, Bear Grylls, Mehreen Baig, and JB Gill). The month-long “Great British Adventure” stunt begins streaming on JOURNY on Sunday, October 1. 

• Ghost Dimension: Paranormal investigators take on the UK’s most haunted buildings searching for some of the strongest paranormal activity on the island. While the world is on lockdown, it appears that the ghosts are not! Will the spirits come out and join the team from isolation?

• Bear Grylls’ Wild Adventure: In this two-part series hosted by Bear Grylls, former rugby union player Jonny Wilkinson and former boxer Nicola Adams face the grueling and harsh terrain of Dartmoor National Park in the UK as they test of their survival instincts in a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

• Walks of Life: Presented by Mehreen Baig and JB Gill each episode explores modern attitudes to religion, belief and society’s relationship within spectacular landscapes. Along the way, each episode showcases fascinating and inspiring people who reveal the stories behind those sites of spiritual importance, whether they be places of worship and monuments, burial sites or sites of pilgrimage.

• Scottish Islands with Ben Fogle: In a quest to rediscover his own sense of spirituality, adventurer Ben Fogle braves the elements to sail from the magical Outer Hebrides to the wild Shetland Isles: finding remote clifftop hideaways, temple ruins, and secret beaches for cold water dips. Along the way, Ben encounters locals who teach him how these ancient landscapes nurture values and beliefs as strong as the winds that blow across them.
