AXS TV presents the ultimate trip down memory lane in the all-new pop culture series The Very VERY Best Of The 80s – a star-studded look at the big names, big hits, and big moments that defined a generation, hosted by acclaimed actress, singer, designer, and TV personality, Kelly Osbourne. The Very VERY Best Of The 80s premieres on Tuesday, October 4 @ 8:30PM ET/5:30PM PT, and is executive produced by Katie Daryl, the executive producer and host of the hit AXS TV music countdown series The Top Ten Revealed.
The Very VERY Best Of The 80s takes viewers on a nostalgia-fueled journey through the bodacious popular culture that made the decade most triumphant – and continues to captivate fans both old and new to this day. The inaugural season puts the spotlight on retro-packed episodes, kicking off on October 4 with a breakdown of the small screen’s catchiest TV Theme Songs. Other highlights include a hard-hitting look at the ’80s’ top Action Movie Stars (October 11); the Celebrity Couples that had the nation swooning (October 18); the Scary Movies that helped make the ’80s a Golden Age for Horror (October 25); the famous Rad Rides that revved our engines (November 1); and the Amazing Toys that every ’80s kid had to have (November 8).
Joining Osbourne each week is a rotating panel of all-star celebrity guests, who will be on-hand to share their thoughts on the featured topics. The radical roster includes Diff’rent Strokes legend Todd Bridges, *NSYNC standout Chris Kirkpatrick, Happy Days favorite Anson Williams, film and TV star Morgan Fairchild, beloved Brady Bunch icon Susan Olsen, three-time NBA Champion John Salley, GRAMMY®-winning entertainer Tia Carrere, Kid ‘N Play rapper Chris Reid, Growing Pains Seaver sibling Tracey Gold, prolific actor and former host of the classic competition series MTV Sports Dan Cortese, The Wonder Years actress Olivia d’Abo, celebrity blogger and media personality Perez Hilton, Golden Globe®-nominated actress, and singer Joely Fisher, and many more.
