Stonestreet will guest star in the role of &#8220;Al.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Production for DEXTER: RESURRECTION kicked off in January 2025 in New York and the series is set to launch in summer of 2025 on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. The new original drama series stars SAG and Golden Globe\u00ae winner Michael C. Hall (DEXTER\u00ae, <em>Six Feet Under<\/em>) in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.<\/p><div id=\"morty-630445757\" class=\"morty-content\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4937602850188786\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4937602850188786\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"5227734695\" \ndata-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\ndata-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>In addition to Hall, DEXTER: RESURRECTION will also star Uma Thurman as Charley, David Zayas as Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Dexter&#8217;s son Harrison Morgan, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Blessing Kamara, Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Su\u00e1rez as Elsa Rivera, with James Remar as Dexter&#8217;s father Harry Morgan and Peter Dinklage as Leon Prater. Neil Patrick Harris and Krysten Ritter are also set to guest star as Lowell and Mia, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, DEXTER\u00ae: ORIGINAL SIN, a prequel series that follows Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) as he transitions from student to serial killer, debuted last year and became the most streamed global original series for SHOWTIME\u00ae in ten years.<\/p>\n<p>DEXTER: RESURRECTION is executive produced by Emmy\u00ae nominee Clyde Phillips (DEXTER, DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN, NURSE JACKIE), who also returns to serve as showrunner, and produced by SHOWTIME Studios and Counterpart Studios. Michael C. Hall (DEXTER, <em>Six Feet Under<\/em>) also serves as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds (Jessica Jones), Tony Hernandez (Emily in Paris) and Lilly Burns (Russian Doll), with Marcos Siega (DEXTER\u00ae: NEW BLOOD) serving as producing director. Monica Raymund (DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN) is set to direct four episodes with Marcos Siega directing six episodes for the series. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Stonestreet is best known for his two-time Emmy-winning character Cameron Tucker on the hit Emmy-winning Comedy Modern Family. Stonestreet also garnered a 2011 Emmy nomination, Golden Globe nominations in 2011, 2012 and 2013, Screen Actors Guild nominations in 2012, 2013 and 2015 and a TCA Award nomination for his portrayal. Most recently Stonestreet can be seen in the original series, <em>The Santa Clauses<\/em>, where he stars as &#8220;Magnus Antas&#8221; (aka the Mad Santa) and he just received his fourth Emmy nomination in the Supporting Performer category. The series premiered in Fall\/Winter 2023. He also starred as &#8220;lan Osofsky&#8221; on the critically acclaimed Comedy Series American Auto for a couple of episodes. Prior to American Auto, Stonestreet was the host of the reality competition series <em>Domino Masters<\/em>. The series featured teams of domino enthusiasts facing off in a domino toppling and chain reaction tournament. Additionally, Stonestreet hosted the reality series <em>The Toy Box<\/em>. The show featured contestants as aspiring entrepreneurs, who present toy inventions, first to a panel of toy industry professionals, then to a panel of child-judges.
