From Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television, Cross is a complex, twisted, pulse-pounding thriller created by producer and writer Ben Watkins, based on the worldwide best-selling Alex Cross book series by James Patterson. Alex Cross is a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify &#8211; and ultimately capture &#8211; the murderers. Aldis Hodge (<em>Black Adam, City On A Hill, One Night In Miami&#8230;<\/em> ) will play the titular character and also serves as a producer on the series. Cross will premiere on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Cross is brilliant, flawed, and full of contradictions. A doting father and family man, <em>Cross<\/em> is single-minded to the point of obsession when he hunts killers. Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, and Craig Siebels also executive produce, with James Patterson, Bill Robinson, and Patrick Santa executive producing for James Patterson Entertainment, and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost executive producing for Skydance Television.<\/p>\n<p>Aldis Hodge is a SAG Award-winning actor who currently plays Hawkman\/Carter Hall in the New Line\/Warner Bros. film <em>Black Adam<\/em>. He also starred in and served as an executive producer for Showtime&#8217;s <em>City On A Hill<\/em>. Hodge can also be seen on <em>Leverage: Redemption<\/em> where he reprises the role of Alec Hardison. Aldis starred as Jim Brown in Regina King&#8217;s directorial debut <em>One Night in Miami<\/em> and was nominated for his performance in the category of Best Supporting Actor for the NAACP Image Awards. He also starred opposite Elizabeth Moss in Universal&#8217;s <em>Invisible Man<\/em>. He appeared in the Academy Award-nominated Twentieth Century Fox feature Hidden Figures, for which the cast received an ensemble award at the 2017 SAG Awards. Hodge is set to stars opposite his brother Edwin Hodge in the upcoming film, <em>Parallel<\/em>, produced by Hodge Brothers Productions.
