She has starred in six installments of &#8220;<em>Morning Show Mysteries<\/em>&#8221; for Hallmark Movies &amp; Mysteries as well as in the network&#8217;s holiday favorites for which she also executive produced. Additionally for the network, she starred in &#8220;<em>The Christmas Doctor<\/em>&#8221; and &#8220;<em>A Family Christmas Gift<\/em>,&#8221; opposite Patti LaBelle. On Hallmark Channel she starred in all four &#8220;<em>Christmas in Evergreen<\/em>&#8221; movies as the town&#8217;s beloved mayor, Michelle. For two seasons, Robinson Peete invited viewers into her home on the reality series, &#8220;<em>Meet the Peetes<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Robinson Peete&#8217;s career first took off with her breakout role as Officer Judy Hoffs on &#8220;<em>21 Jump Street<\/em>&#8221; &#8211; a character she later reprised in the movie adaptation. She continued to star in popular television series, including &#8220;<em>Hangin&#8217; with Mr. Cooper<\/em>&#8221; and &#8220;<em>For Your Love<\/em>.&#8221; Additionally, she was seen recurring on the hit drama series &#8220;Chicago Fire,&#8221; as well as the comedy series, &#8220;<em>American Housewife<\/em>&#8221; and &#8220;Mike &amp; Molly.&#8221; Robinson Peete&#8217;s successful television career places her as one of only a handful of actresses to star in four shows in syndication. She also successfully launched the show &#8220;<em>The Talk<\/em>&#8221; as one of the original co-hosts. Speaking to her enduring presence on television, the Hollywood Walk of Fame will honor Robinson Peete with a star later this year.<\/p>\n<p>In 1999, Robinson Peete and her husband, former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, formed the HollyRod Foundation, inspired by her father Matt Robinson &#8211; the original Gordon on &#8220;Sesame Street&#8221; &#8211; and his courageous battle with Parkinson&#8217;s disease, with the mission to help improve the quality of life of people with Parkinson&#8217;s. Shortly thereafter, inspired by their eldest son&#8217;s autism diagnosis, HollyRod Foundation&#8217;s mission expanded to provide support and resources to those affected by autism.
