The event series is produced for STARZ by Lionsgate Television.<\/p>\n<p>Peter Greene has been cast in the role of &#8220;Uncle Charlie;&#8221; Ayomide Adegun has been cast in the role of &#8220;Charon;&#8221; Jeremy Bobb has been cast in the role of &#8220;Mayhew.&#8221;<\/p><div id=\"morty-1301819316\" class=\"morty-content\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4937602850188786\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4937602850188786\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"5227734695\" \ndata-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\ndata-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>They join previously announced cast members Colin Woodell as the series lead &#8220;Winston Scott&#8221; the younger version of the iconic character from the John Wick film franchise, whose origin story is told through the event series; Hubert Point-Du Jour as &#8220;Miles,&#8221; Jessica Allain as &#8220;Lou,&#8221; Mishel Prada as &#8220;KD,&#8221; Nhung Kate as &#8220;Yen,&#8221; Mel Gibson as &#8220;Cormac,&#8221; and Ben Robson as &#8220;Frankie.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong><em>The Continental<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; will explore the origin behind the hotel-for-assassins, the centerpiece of the John Wick universe, through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott who is dragged into the Hell-scape of a 1975 New York City to face a past he thought he&#8217;d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through New York&#8217;s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the iconic hotel, which serves as the meeting point for the world&#8217;s most dangerous criminals.<\/p>\n<p>Executive Producers Greg Coolidge (&#8220;<em>Wayne<\/em>,&#8221; <em>Ride Along<\/em>) and Kirk Ward (&#8220;<em>The Turkey Bowl<\/em>,&#8221; &#8220;<em>Wayne<\/em>&#8220;) will write the event series and serve as showrunners. Executive Producer Albert Hughes (&#8220;<em>The Good Lord Bird<\/em>,&#8221; <em>The Book of Eli<\/em>) will direct the first and third episodes while executive producing all three. Charlotte Br\u00e4ndstr\u00f6m (&#8220;<em>The Lord of the Rings<\/em>,&#8221; &#8220;<em>The Witcher<\/em>&#8220;) will direct the second episode.
