The role of the Countess is loosely based on Elizabeth B\u00e1thory, who is infamous for murdering hundreds of young women.<\/p><div id=\"morty-578654062\" class=\"morty-content_2\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-4937602850188786\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4937602850188786\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"5227734695\" \ndata-ad-layout=\"in-article\"\ndata-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Gaga has previously featured in cameos in <em>Machete Kills<\/em>, <em>Sin City<\/em>: <em>A Dame to Kill For<\/em> and <em>Muppets Most Wanted<\/em> and got in touch directly with <em>American Horror<\/em> creator Ryan Murphy to obtain a part.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Ryan gave a few more details on Gaga&#8217;s character when he spoke to Billboard. \u00a0&#8216;She is a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art, fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode that plays out over the season,&#8217; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s \u00a0the rest of the cast:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-184 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/mortystv.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ahs-hotel-bell-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"ahs-hotel-bell\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mortystv.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ahs-hotel-bell-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/mortystv.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ahs-hotel-bell-50x50.jpg 50w, https:\/\/mortystv.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ahs-hotel-bell-57x57.jpg 57w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/>Angela Bassett: \u201cI play Ramona Royale, and I am sexy as well. I have a very strong, real, lasting relationship with Stephanie\u2019s [that would be Gaga] character, so I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll be at odds with Donovan over who gets the girl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kathy Bates: \u201cI play Iris. I run the hotel. I have relationships with Matt Bomer and with Wes [Bentley]. Liz Taylor and I have a very, very close relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wes Bentley: \u201cI play Detective John Lowe, married to Alex, Chlo\u00eb\u2019s character. I\u2019m investigating some grisly murders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Matt Bomer: \u201cI play Donovan, who is a denizen of the hotel, closely associated with Ms. Gaga and Ms. Bates and Mr. Wittrock, amongst others. He has very interesting relationships with the ladyfolk in his life. I\u2019ll just leave it at that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Denis O\u2019Hare: \u201cI am playing Liz Taylor, movie icon. I\u2019m not actually playing Elizabeth Taylor, but I\u2019m playing a person who is inspired by the awesomeness of things like Butterfield 8 and Cleopatra, and eye makeup like that. I work in the hotel. I work in the bar. It\u2019s called \u2018The Blue Parrot Lounge.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cheyenne Jackson: \u201cI\u2019m playing Will Drake, fashion icon. He\u2019s trying to creatively reestablish himself, so he moves from New York to Los Angeles and is a little desperate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Paulson: \u201cI play Sally. I live at the hotel and I hate Iris for reasons that are revealed quickly. She\u2019s quite sexy. Unlike anything I\u2019ve ever done on the show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chlo\u00eb Sevigny: \u201cI play Alex Lowe. I am the wife of Wes Bentley\u2019s character, and a mother, and a doctor, and I\u2019m dealing with a great loss we had in our family \u2014 among other things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Finn Wittrock: \u201cI\u2019m playing a male model named Tristan Duffy, who is always looking for the next high. And I, of course, sort of find the biggest high in Lady Gaga. We have a lot to do together.
