The duo&#8217;s friendship becomes all-consuming &#8211; and destabilizes their lives in a hilarious way. Season two picks up with everyone&#8217;s favorite pair of best friends as they contend with new midlife hurdles, including work, weddings, and partners in crises. The duo tries their best to be each other&#8217;s rock, but sometimes rocks break things. The season two cast also includes Luke Macfarlane and Carla Gallo, and introduces Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, and Milo Manheim as guest stars.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Platonic&#8221;<\/em> is produced by Sony Pictures Television, where Stoller&#8217;s Stoller Global Solutions has an overall deal. Byrne, Stoller, Delbanco, and Conor Welch executive produce, along with Rogen, Evan Goldber,g and James Weaver for Point Grey Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to <em>&#8220;Platonic,&#8221;<\/em> Rogen stars in Apple TV&#8217;s celebrated hit comedy <em>&#8220;The Studio,&#8221;<\/em> which recently landed 23 Emmy Award\u00ae nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, making it the most-nominated freshman comedy series in history. Rogen wrote, directed, and executive-produced <em>&#8220;The Studio&#8221;<\/em> alongside Goldberg.
