From attempting to gain their first, tirelessly working to secure their distinction, or striving to gain a second or an elusive third star &#8211; each chef faces a deeply personal challenge.<\/p>\n<p>The Michelin Star is the most prestigious culinary award in the world, recognizing the finest ingredients cooked to the highest possible standards. Filmed in cities from Los Angeles to London, Mexico City to Copenhagen, each chef attempts to win a Star or face the crushing blow of losing one, as Michelin Guide&#8217;s team of inspectors use false identities and phone numbers to dine anonymously.
