Great American Media Announces “40 Days of Lent: A Journey of Faith and Reflection” on Great American Family and Great American Pure Flix

Great American Media announced its Easter celebrations for Great American Family and streaming service, Pure Flix, will showcase traditional faith-filled programming throughout the season. From heartfelt films to messages of renewal, reflection, and hope from the company’s family of stars, the focus of the experience will be on the true meaning of Easter.

Great American Family will present Forty-Seven Days With Jesus, starring Yoshi Barrigas (“The Chosen”) and Catherine Lidstone (“The Chosen”), which premieres Saturday, April 19 (8PM ET). In Forty-Seven Days With Jesus, a disconnected family finds hope and unity through a cinematic retelling of Jesus’ final 47 days on Earth.

An annual tradition returns, “The Passion Play,” LIVE from Shepherd Church Los Angeles returns on Good Friday, April 18 (3:45PM ET/2:45PM CT).

Great American Family proudly presents Faith of Angels, starring John Michael Finley (I Can Only Imagine), Cameron Arnett, Kirby Heyborne (Extinct), and Charlotte Hemmings (Beauty & The Billionaire: Bali), based on a true story about a little boy lost in a Utah mine and the guardian angel intent on finding him.

Streaming service Pure Flix offers one of the largest content libraries of faith-based films in entertainment. Throughout the season of Lent, Pure Flix presents The Blind, starring Aron Von Andrian in the true story of Duck Dynasty founder, Phil Robertson’s descent into darkness before finding salvation, The Two Thieves, starring Jonathan Roumie (The Chosen), Candace Cameron Bure Presents: Just In Time, starring Laura Osnes (A Little Women’s Christmas) and Peter Bryant (“Riverdale”), The Museum of the Bible Presents: “The History of Easter,” hosted by Christian songwriter, Matthew West, Apostle Peter, starring Bruce Marchiano (The Encounter), Lawrence Fuller (Road to the Well), and Robert Loggia (The Greatest Story Ever Told.)
