TLC proudly celebrates the 10th anniversary of its GIVE A LITTLE campaign, a national, multiplatform initiative designed to empower people to stand up to bullies and rally around messages of inclusion, acceptance, and respect. Since its launch, GIVE A LITTLE has encouraged viewers to make a positive impact through simple but transformative acts of giving a little time, support, and compassion.
Timed to coincide with National Bullying Prevention Month and World Mental Health Day (October 10), this year’s campaign will feature two powerful PSAs. One highlights Baylen Dupree of Baylen Out Loud, who has openly shared her experience living with Tourette Syndrome and the cyberbullying she has faced because of it. The second PSA features a range of TLC talent who support the GIVE A LITTLE mission and rally around the importance of compassion, inclusion, and respectful dialogue in digital spaces.
TLC’s renewed partnership with The Cybersmile Foundation builds on the network’s decade-long commitment to fostering a culture of kindness, inclusion, and respect. This October, TikTok joins the effort, encouraging viewers, users, and creators to unite around a shared message of empathy and acceptance. Together, the campaign will spotlight mental health resources and promote the importance of compassion and respectful dialogue in digital spaces.
Users can also visit TikTok’s Bullying Prevention Guide for more information on how to identify bullying behavior and the tools available to help create a positive experience on the platform. Through Comment Filters, people can filter out comments containing specific keywords from appearing under their videos. Parents can also turn on Comment Filters for their teens using TikTok’s parental controls called Family Pairing, and they can learn more on TikTok’s Guardian’s Guide.
The campaign also encourages viewers and social media users to participate during the month of October, using #GiveALittleTLC to demonstrate their support and promote kindness online. To help keep people safe, Cybersmile’s interactive education resources will be shared across social media throughout the month-long initiative.
