Prime Video Releases Official Trailer for “The Chosen Adventures,” a New Animated Series Premiering October 17, 2025 [VIDEO]

Today, Prime Video released the trailer for the upcoming animated series, The Chosen Adventures, streaming on October 17, 2025. All 14 11-minute episodes will release on premiere day. The series is produced by 5&2 Studios and will premiere on Prime Video in the U.S. and internationally in the United Kingdom, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Chosen Adventures follows nine-year-old Abby and her best friend Joshua as they navigate life in the ancient city of Capernaum. When the children encounter a wise craftsman and teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, he changes the way they see the world. And did we mention that she has a talking sheep?

“The trailer exemplifies what excites us so much about this show,” said Dallas Jenkins, executive producer. “It’s funny, heartwarming, for adults as well as kids, and it appropriately captures these great stories through the eyes of a child.”

The Chosen Adventures stars Paul Walter Hauser as Sheep, Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Romy Fay as Abby, Jude Zarzaur as Joshua, Danny Nucci as Abba, and Zehra Fazal as Eema. The series also features The Chosen‘s Jonathan Roumie as Jesus. Other recurring and guest voice cast members include Jordin Sparks as Fish, Paras Patel as Matthew, Elizabeth Tabish as Mary, Noah James as Andrew, George H. Xanthis as John, Joey Vahedi as Thomas, Yasmine Al-Bustami as Ramah, Brandon Potter as Quintus, Banks Pierce as Hilarius Maximus, and Julian Grant as Cyrius Maximus.

Ryan Swanson serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner, with Dallas Jenkins executive producing under his 5&2 Studios banner. Chris Juen, Chad Gundersen, Keith Alcorn, Kellen Erskine, and Derral Eves also serve as executive producers, alongside producer Erin Elizabeth Gardner and co-producer Myesha Gosselin.

Earlier this year, Amazon MGM Studios inked a first-look multi-faceted deal with 5&2 Studios. The wide-ranging deal provides streaming rights to the first five seasons of The Chosen, the upcoming drama series Joseph of Egypt, and the new unscripted series The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls for Prime Video. The pact also includes theatrical and streaming rights to The Chosen’s upcoming final two seasons, which will follow the crucifixion (Season Six) and the resurrection (Season Seven).
