UPtv, the television home for uplifting entertainment, will be celebrating the “Most Uplifting Christmas Ever” this year with over 50 days of Christmas programming filled with almost 100 titles, including eight premiere movies and the cable premiere series The Christmas Checklist. Christmas kicks off on National Uplift Someone Day, October 30, with all-day movies including Festival of Trees, A Bluegrass Christmas and North by North Pole: A Dial S Mystery. All-new premieres begin Sunday, November 2.
“Our upcoming Christmas slate is all about capturing the joy and wonder of the holiday season, along with a little bit of that holiday magic everyone loves,” said Crissie Miller, vice president, content strategy and acquisition at UP Entertainment. “Our movies are full of heart and laughter, perfect for cozy nights and festive traditions. We’re bringing our viewers a fresh take on holiday storytelling that’s warm, fun, and unmistakably us. We are thrilled to kick off the holiday season on National Uplift Someone Day because what’s more uplifting than Christmas movies?”
In addition to UPtv’s holiday offering, subscription streaming service UP Faith & Family kicks off Christmas on October 30 with over 200 Christmas favorites as part of “Cozy UP to Christmas.”
The My UPtv app is available for viewers to download and is especially popular around the holidays to track movie viewing. The tracker app allows viewers to learn more about upcoming movies and series on the network, watch previews, and request personalized showtime alerts.
