A logger leads a life of quiet grace as he experiences love and loss during an era of monumental change in early 20th-century America.
Clint Bentley and Greg Kwedar’s Train Dreams, the latest from the Sing Sing directing duo, is steadily rolling toward its November premiere. Netflix dropped the final trailer for this distinctly American story, starring Joel Edgerton, Felicity Jones, Kerry Condon, and William H. Macy.
Adapted from Denis Johnson’s 2002 short story (later expanded into a novella), the film was picked up by Netflix after premiering at Sundance and recently screened at TIFF. It arrives in theaters on November 7 ahead of its Netflix debut on November 21.
