Emmy Award-Winning Series “The Pitt” to Debut on TNT Monday, December 1 @ 9PM ET/PT [VIDEO]

The complete freshman season of the Emmy®-winning Max Original/Warner Bros. Television hit medical drama The Pitt will debut on TNT starting Monday, December 1, @ 9PM ET/PT in advance of the show’s highly anticipated season two premiere on HBO Max in January 2026. As part of a special programming event, three back-to-back episodes will air weekly on Mondays through December 29 on TNT.

Starring Noah Wyle as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, the critically acclaimed series is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh. Each episode follows an hour of Dr. Robby’s (Wyle) 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center’s emergency department. Tracy Ifeachor (Dr. Collins), Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Dennis Whitaker), and Shabana Azeez (Victoria Javadi) also star in season one.

Acknowledging The Pitt‘s core mission to accurately depict the realities of an emergency department, TNT will broadcast the series as it originally streamed on HBO Max, keeping the integrity of scenes that feature graphic medical imagery, including nudity – all of which are integral to the show’s portrayal of the raw emotional toll that such work has on those who commit their lives to the medical profession. TNT will include advisories at the top of each episode and coming out of commercial breaks.

The Pitt will return for season two in January 2026 on HBO Max. Season one was widely acclaimed, amassing an audience of nearly 20 million global viewers per episode, and garnering five Emmy Awards®, including Outstanding Drama Series, first-time Emmy® wins for Noah Wyle (Lead Actor), Katherine LaNasa (Supporting Actress), and Shawn Hatosy (Guest Actor), and Outstanding Casting.
