Paramount+ today announced the upcoming premieres of two new docuseries from See It Now Studios: THIRST TRAP: THE FAME. THE FANTASY. THE FALLOUT. and DON’T DATE BRANDON. Both projects explore the dark undercurrents of digital connection, obsession and betrayal, and will stream exclusively on Paramount+ this fall.

We’re proud to collaborate with these storytellers whose work will captivate audiences from the first frame to the final credits.”
DON’T DATE BRANDON and THIRST TRAP join See It Now’s slate, which also includes the recently announced documentary currently in production, MY NIGHTMARE STALKER: THE EVA LARUE STORY, which reveals how the CSI: Miami star and her daughter endured over a decade of terror at the hands of a relentless stalker.
THIRST TRAP: THE FAME. THE FANTASY. THE FALLOUT. premieres September 9, 2025.
When 21-year-old William White posted a lip-synching video to TikTok, he hardly expected to become an internet sensation overnight. Sparking a “thirst trap” obsession with lovesick fans, the line between real connection and online fantasy was blurred as it gained millions of fans. What first seemed like innocent interactions with self-formed fan clubs for White turned into jealousy, blackmail, and betrayal by the fans who were determined to watch his every move online. With exclusive interviews with William’s super fans, and William himself, THIRST TRAP is a powerful exploration of internet culture, obsession, and identity in the modern age.
THIRST TRAP is directed by Trish Neufeld and executive produced by James Buddy Day for Pyramid Productions and Aaron Fishman for APG Pictures. For See It Now Studios, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong executive produce, and Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora are supervising producers. The documentary is distributed internationally by Osmosis Global.
DON’T DATE BRANDON premieres October 28, 2025.
DON’T DATE BRANDON is a gripping true-crime docuseries that follows a modern romance that spiraled into a dangerous game of deception. When Amber starts dating Brandon after meeting him online, he seems like the perfect boyfriend. But when she connects with his ex-wife, Athena, everything is turned upside-down as they learn the truth together: Brandon is a manipulative liar with dark secrets.
As the two women launch a podcast to expose Brandon and discuss the warning signs they missed, more victims come forward, and new details and stories emerge. This is a story about more than one man’s lies… it’s about survival, solidarity and the women who refused to stay silent.
DON’T DATE BRANDON is a co-production between See It Now Studios and Wag Entertainment. The docuseries is directed by Grace Chapman and executive produced by Steven Green and Eliya Aman for Wag Entertainment, a Fremantle company. For See It Now Studios, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong serve as executive producers, with Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora as supervising producers. The docuseries is distributed internationally by Fremantle.
