The History Channel Taps TV Legend Henry Winkler to Executive Produce and Host New Nonfiction Series “Hazardous History with Henry Winkler”

The HISTORY Channel™ greenlights the new nonfiction series “Hazardous History with Henry Winkler,” to be executive produced, hosted and narrated by Emmy Award® winning actor Henry Winkler (“Barry,” “Happy Days”). The eight-episode fast-paced, nostalgia-fueled series produced by A+E Factual Studios™ group in association with GroupM Motion Entertainment, will take viewers on a thrilling ride through America’s past, uncovering the reckless and dangerous pastimes, practices and products you would never see today but were once a part of everyday Americana.

From doctors who prescribed cigarettes and sodas laced with cocaine and lithium to radioactive toys and toxic refrigerators – this series unveils a forgotten era of America when irresponsible and hazardous products and practices were common occurrences.
