New Series Premiere “The Flip Off” Wednesday, January 29 @ 8PM on HGTV [VIDEO]

There’s a new competition show coming to HGTV, and this time it’s a battle of the exes. Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack built a home-flipping empire with HGTV’s long-running series Flip or Flop — but it all came crashing down after their publicized divorce.

Now, they’re back in a new series called The Flip Off — a throwdown competition premiering on Wednesday, January 29 @ 8PM.

Real estate power couple Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa (hosts of The Flipping El Moussas) compete against Tarek’s ex and designer Christina Haack (host of Christina on the Coast) in a major HGTV competition. During the six-episode battle, each team will each attempt to find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain. The competitors’ skills and budget will be put to the test as they renovate the kitchen, main suite, living room, guest suite, extra bedroom, and exterior of their chosen properties. The team who comes out on top wins ultimate bragging rights — and a first-class vacation paid for by the loser.
