Max Original Hit “The Thaw” Returns for Season 3 Production Has Commenced in Northern Poland, with Katarazyna Wajda Returning in the Lead Role

The third installment of the hit Max Original crime drama series THE THAW commenced production at the end of November. The third season is being shot in Szczecin, with Katarzyna Wajda returning in the lead role.

The six-episode third season, set in Szczecin, will begin with investigations into drug dealings among teenagers. The cast includes returning actors Katarzyna Wajda, Bartlomiej Kotschedoff, Ewa Skibinska, Juliusz Chrzastowski, and Tomasz Schuchardt.

Creators: Bogumil Lipski (producer), Xawery Zulawski (director), Tomasz Naumiuk (cinematographer), Kevin Rundle (screenwriter), Bartosz Janiszewski (screenwriter), Marta Szymanek (original concept), Andrzej Besztak (executive producer). The series is produced by Magnolia Films.
