Tonight! It’s the Season Premiere of “History’s Greatest Escapes with Morgan Freeman” on HISTORY [VIDEO]

Season Two of “History’s Greatest Escapes with Morgan Freeman” premieres tonight, Monday, July 22 @ 9PM ET/PT on The HISTORY® Channel.

In the new season of “History’s Greatest Escapes with Morgan Freeman,” Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman explores the real-life prison breaks that captured the public’s attention and the authorities that tried to prevent them. Famous escapes at Devil’s Island, during the Vietnam War, and at Sobibor Death Camp during WWII, as well as other prison locations, are recreated to place Freeman at the site of the action. The series creates an up-close-and-personal view of what the prisoners faced in executing their breakouts along with interviews from some of the prisoners themselves, their families, their cellmates, and the guards and prison employees involved in each case.
