Isla Gordon (Kate Hudson) overlooked her whole life is appointed President of the LA Waves basketball team, a family business. She aims to prove she was the right choice despite skepticism.
Ellis stars as a former player and now seasoned Head Coach of the LA Waves whose zen-like approach has led the team to multiple championships.
