Prime Video Releases Official Trailer and Offers Exclusive Sneak Peek on May 23 for “The 1% Club” Hosted by Comedian and Actor Patton Oswalt [VIDEO]

Prime Video debuted the trailer for the service’s first-ever game show, The 1% Club, hosted by award-winning comedian and actor Patton Oswalt (The Goldbergs, A.P. Bio, Ratatouille). The unique and compelling show will test the nation’s intelligence through a series of questions backed by scientific surveys. New episodes of The 1% Club will be available on Mondays @ 9PM/8c on FOX beginning June 3 and the next day on Prime Video. Prime customers will get an exclusive early look at the premiere episode starting May 23.

In each episode, 100 contestants from across the country compete for the chance to win up to $100,000. Throughout the game, host Patton Oswalt will ask a series of increasingly difficult, logic-based questions. This game does not test intelligence; instead, it inquires on the way your brain works through 15 entertaining questions, starting with the 90% question, and ending with the toughest test of the night, the 1% question. Who can answer the question that only 1% of America got right and win the grand prize?

The 1% Club, distributed by BBC Studios, has had major ratings success in Europe. Following the original top UK series produced for ITV, The 1% Club has had a strong global rise, launching internationally in the Netherlands, Australia, Germany, France, Israel, and Spain, with Turkey, Mexico, Greece, Ukraine, and Hungary set to come.

The 1% Club for Prime Video is executive produced by Ryan O’Dowd and Krystal Whitney for BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions, which is led by General Manager Valerie Bruce; Dean Nabarro and Andy Auerbach for Magnum Media; and Amazon MGM Studios. Wes Kauble serves as the showrunner.
