Today, Scott Brothers Entertainment & Trixie Mattel have announced the June 1st premiere date for her forthcoming limited TV series Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home on Max, with new episodes debuting weekly through June 22.
Following Trixie and her partner David Silver as they search for and renovate their perfect dreamhouse, the show will bring together the practicality and inventiveness of the “home renovation” genre with the colorful, hilarious and always fabulous world of Trixie Mattel.
A follow-up to Trixie’s runaway hit 2022 limited series Trixie Motel (which saw Trixie and David renovating a Palm Springs motel that is currently open for business), the forthcoming show, produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment, will feature a variety of famous friends working to bring the dreamhouse to life, including Juno Birch, Nicole Byer, Brittany Broski, Katya, Orville Peck, Christine Quinn, Drew and Jonathan Scott, Lisa Vanderpump, Very Gay Paint, and of course Trixie’s trusted assistant Brandon Lim and designer Dan Vickery.
“We chose to focus on our home life because it’s so personal and intimate,” said Trixie. “As well as the world knows us, they’re about to see a whole new side!”
Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home not only will follow the success of the aforementioned Trixie Motel, it also adds to an impressive pop culture resume that includes numerous critically acclaimed albums, an award-winning podcast, a thriving cosmetics career (Trixie is the CEO of Trixie Cosmetics), her own documentary, a burgeoning career as a highly in-demand DJ, a New York Times best-selling book, millions upon millions of views for her numerous web content shows, and much more. Trixie is represented by Producer Entertainment Group.
