BET+ announced today that “DIARRA FROM DETROIT” will premiere on Thursday, March 21. David Zayas (Dexter), Harry Lennix (The Blacklist, Billions), Paul Ben-Victor (The Wire, In Plain Sight), and Bechir Sylvain (Claws) join “DIARRA FROM DETROIT” as recurring guest stars, as well as Kash Doll (BMF), John Salley (Bad Boys, LA’s Finest), Icewear Vezzo, and Julio Macias (On My Block), who also appear in guest starring roles. They join the series alongside previously announced cast members, star and creator Diarra Kilpatrick, Morris Chestnut, Phylicia Rashad, DomiNque Perry, Claudia Logan, Bryan Terrell Clark, Shannon Wallace, and Jon Chaffin.

“DIARRA FROM DETROIT” follows a divorcing schoolteacher who refuses to believe she’s been ghosted by her rebound Tinder date. Her search for the missing man pulls her into a decades-old mystery involving the Detroit underworld. As the case unfolds, her co-workers, friends, and lovers become unlikely allies as she falls down a dangerous rabbit hole.
