Luke Macfarlane executive produces Amish Stud: The Eli Weaver Story, starring alongside Kirsten Vangsness and Miranda MacDougall. The new original true-crime movie revisits the story of a man who called himself “Amish Stud” and plotted with his mistress to murder his wife, to the horror of his conservative Amish community. Amish Stud is based on the book, “A Killing in Amish Country: Sex, Betrayal and a Cold-Blooded Murder” by bestselling authors Gregg Olsen and Rebecca Morris.
Amish Stud: The Eli Weaver Story is produced for Lifetime by Stud Productions Inc., in association with Milojo Productions and Johnson Production Group. Timothy O. Johnson from Johnson Production Group, Laurie Pozmantier, Gregg Olsen, Oliver DeCaigny, and Rebecca Morris executive produce alongside Luke Macfarlane. Jill Goldhand is Co-executive producer while Navid Soofi produces. Stacey Harding directs from a script by Hunter Smith and Kim Izzo.

Christina Applegate was born on November 25, 1971, and turned 53 years old today. As a child actress, she gained recognition for starring as Kelly Bundy in the Fox sitcom Married... with Children (1987–1997). Applegate established a successful film and television career in her adult years, winning a Primetime Emmy® Award from seven nominations as well as nominations for four Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award.
Applegate starred in the title role of the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998–2000), which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. She received a Primetime Emmy Award for her guest role in the NBC sitcom Friends (2002–2003). For her role in the Broadway revival of Sweet Charity (2005), she earned a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She went on to star in the ABC sitcom Samantha Who? (2007–2009), for which she received two Primetime Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations; the NBC sitcom Up All Night (2011–2012); and the Netflix dark tragicomedy series Dead to Me (2019–2022), which earned her three Primetime Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award nomination. -
