It’s All About Dad! This June, Journy Celebrates Father’s Day All Month Long With Dad Adventures

Ovation TV, America’s premier arts network, is pleased to announce the June 2023 stunt and curated programming for its award-winning travel-entertainment digital channel, JOURNY. JOURNY celebrates Father’s Day all month long with a strong line-up of dad-hosted programming, including Ben Fogle (Starting Up, Starting Over), the British host, adventurer, and writer who can TRULY do it all. But above all, he’s a dad. This June, he is joined by other JOURNY paternal figures Henry Golding (Welcome to the Railworld Japan), Gordon Ramsay (Great Escape), Bear Grylls (Bear’s Wild Adventure) and Philippe Cousteau (Xploration Awesome Planet). The Dad Adventures stunt celebrating dads and Father’s Day begins streaming Thursday, June 1^st on JOURNY.

 Ben Fogle’s Starting Up, Starting Over follows the brave people who dare to quit their 9 to 5 working routine and pursue their dream of a better life, in a better place, doing something they love. Each episode follows a different person or family who’ve had enough of the rat race. Ben Fogle immerses himself in their new lives and discovers how the reality of being their own boss measures up to the dream. These brave souls sell up, relocate, and put everything they have into creating their dream life – as restaurant owners, beer makers, hoteliers, or farmers. They are prepared to put everything on the line and take an exciting leap into the unknown, so they can take control of their lives and follow their dreams.

Host Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) discovers the essence of Japan by taking a unique and fulfilling journey through the country’s most prominent mode of transport: the railway system. Embark on a comprehensive and fun tour around the land of the rising sun with destinations ranging from Tokyo, Hokkaido, Okinawa, Kyushu, and more.

• Xploration Awesome Planet: Philippe Cousteau, Jr. is no stranger to exploration. Grandson of legendary underwater explorer Jacques Cousteau, Philippe examines the planet in this series. Among many adventures, Philippe travels to diamond and gold mines to see how gems and metals are formed, faces active volcanoes to observe what happens inside Earth’s burning core, visits a condor rehabilitation area, and checks out weather stations in mountainous areas to get an idea of how weather phenomena form in the atmosphere.
