Focus Features’ “A Thousand and One” Streams Exclusively on Peacock May 19 [VIDEO]

Peacock has announced Focus Features’ A THOUSAND AND ONE will stream exclusively on Peacock starting May 19. The film joins other Focus Features films on Peacock such as OF AN AGE, SPOILER ALERT and TÁR.

With a breakthrough performance for Teyana Taylor starring alongside Will Catlett, Josiah Cross, Aven Courtney and Aaron Kingsley Adetola, A THOUSAND AND ONE follows unapologetic and free-spirited Inez, who kidnaps her six-year-old son Terry from the foster care system. Holding onto their secret and each other, mother and son set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability, in a rapidly changing New York City. The film is produced by Eddie Vaisman, Julia Lebedev, Lena Waithe, Rishi Rajani, Brad Weston and directed by A.V. Rockwell.
