There are a couple of Christmas movies that are a little more traditional than “Die Hard.” Because the copyright ran out on the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life,” it was shown repeatedly throughout the season until the copyright owner of the story claimed the movie could not be deemed “public domain,” which prevented TV stations from airing the movie without paying a fee. So now if you want to see “It’s a Wonderful Life” you will not have as many chances of catching it. NBC will air “It’s a Wonderful Life” Saturday night @ 8PM ET/PT.
TBS & TNT will be airing their usual marathon of “A Christmas Story” Starting Saturday night @ 9PM on TNT. It’s the movie where Ralphie tries to convince his parents to get him a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas, but his mother only sees the harm it could cause, and at the same time, his parents attempt to handle their own holiday chaos.
