JOURNY Celebrates A Rockin’ Halloween With New Series Ghost Dimension

Ovation TV, America’s premier arts network, is pleased to announce the latest programming for its award-winning travel-entertainment digital channel, JOURNY. JOURNY premieres a new travel series every month, supported by a curated lineup of diverse programming, talent, and destinations. This October, hunt some ghosts while rocking out to some awesome music. Celebrate Halloween with JOURNY’s brand new show Ghost Dimension, get to know some iconic musicians on the road with On the Record with Mick Rock, learn about the Rolling Stones’ historic visit to Cuba in the exclusive documentary It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll, and say goodbye to rockstar Jared Leto before his climbing adventures in Great Wide Open leave the platform. All titles are streaming during the month of October.

 In Ghost Dimension, paranormal investigators take on the UK’s most haunted buildings searching for some of the strongest paranormal activity on the island. While the world is on lock down, it appears that the ghosts are not! Will the spirits come out and join the team from isolation? Viewers will also enjoy a specially curated lineup of some of JOURNY’s favorite series and documentaries exploring rock ‘n roll music, including the following titles: 

• On the Record with Mick Rock: Mick Rock and his iconic photographs of Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Lou Reed, and Blondie helped define the 1970s glam rock era. Now the man who has photographed everyone from Queen to Queens of the Stone Age is looking at music’s biggest stars through a new lens. This Ovation original series featuring Josh Groban, Kings of Leon, The Flaming Lips, Patti LaBelle, and Mark Ronson is on JOURNY for the first time ever.

• It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll: This documentary film follows Ivan Soca Pascual, one of Cuba’s preeminent photographers, who was born in Havana and lived in Eastern Europe throughout the 80s. In March 2016, Ivan was one of the few Cubans allowed to film the Rolling Stones’ first concert on the island, and he is elated – and terrified.

• Great Wide Open: This series, directed by rockstar and actor Jared Leto, celebrates America’s National Parks and the incredible adventurers who explore them. Explore some of our country’s most incredible landscapes as Jared and legendary climber Alex Honnold (Free Solo) summit National Monuments (Devil’s Tower) and Parks (Yosemite).
