YouTube Kids & Family today released the official trailer for “The Guava Juice Show,” the new animated comedy series from YouTube superstar and creator of the Guava Juice YouTube channel, Roi Fabito. The show follows the extraordinary adventures of 14-year-old Roi (Roi Fabito) and his best friends — fierce teenager Jenny (Bethany Brown) and fretful, safety-first Guava (a walking, talking guava fruit/Adrian Petriw) — as they work at a mysterious boardwalk curio shop and jet through the multiverse in a dimension-hopping bathtub.
Watch the premiere episode titled “Gummy Phone Home” for free Saturday, June 4, @ 7AM PT / 10AM ET on the Guava Juice YouTube channel and the YouTube Kids app, with all-new episodes rolling out weekly on Saturdays.
Roi of Guava Juice fame is known for his infectious positivity and messages of staying humble, being true to yourself, and chasing your dreams; as well as for his creativity, youthful spirit, and love of all things messy.
“I’ve always wanted to launch a bathtub into space since I was a kid and now YouTube Kids & Family has given me the platform to do it,” said creator Roi Fabito. “This show is an embodiment of that dream and it goes beyond space — it’s multiversally juicy!”
The trailer showcases Roi, Jenny, and Guava’s wild adventures as they travel through the multiverse in a magic bathtub, explore thrilling and outrageous lands, and have a blast being a trio of unforgettable superfriends. With Roi’s unflinching positivity, Jenny’s brave tenacity, and Guava’s knack for planning – the “boardwalk trio” is able to explore new worlds while promoting community, teamwork, and inclusion.
In the series premiere, “Gummy Phone Home,” a lost gummy bear from the multiverse accidentally ends up back in the curio shop and an unwitting and nervous Guava is forced to take on the role of protector. Roi and Jenny help Guava face his fears in an escalating series of outlandishly dangerous situations so they can get gummy bear back home safely.
Additional cast includes Cherilynn Fulbright as the cynical teen Nancy; Brian Drummond as Uncle Hampersand, the owner of the curio shop; Beth Trisko as Roi’s Lola; and Ian Hanlin as the villainous multiversian cheerleader Hart Spirit.
