Award-Winning Actress, Writer, And Activist Sharon Stone Joins The Season Two Cast Of The Max Original Series THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT As A Recurring Guest Star

The critically acclaimed, breakthrough Max Original series THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT has added Sharon Stone as a recurring guest star for the second season. Stone will play Lisa Bowden, Cassie’s (Kaley Cuoco) estranged mother who would prefer to stay estranged. After a lifetime of dealing with Cassie’s alcoholism, she no longer has any patience or goodwill to spare. Season one, currently available on HBO Max, was nominated for nine Emmys®, winning for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.

Logline: Season two of THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT finds Cassie Bowden (Cuoco) living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue. Season two is in production and is shooting in Los Angeles, Berlin and Reykjavik.

About Sharon Stone:

Sharon Stone is an internationally recognized actress, producer, humanitarian, and New York Times bestselling author of her recent book The Beauty of Living Twice. Her film and television credits include Basic Instinct and Casino, for which she won a Golden Globe® for Best Actress in 1996 and an Academy Award® nomination for her leading role opposite Robert de Niro in Martin Scorsese’s crime drama. Stone received two more Golden Globe Award nominations for her roles in The Mighty (1998) and The Muse (1999). Other film credits include Sliver (1993), The Specialist (1994), The Quick and the Dead (1995), Last Dance (1996), Sphere (1998), Broken Flowers (2005), Alpha Dog (2006), Bobby (2006) and Lovelace (2013), among others. Stone’s television credits include roles in limited series such as Netflix’s Ratched (2020), HBO’s Mosaic (2017), The New Pope (2019), as well as The Practice (2004), for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Stone has been honored with a Nobel Peace Summit Award, a Harvard Humanitarian Award, a Human Rights Campaign Humanitarian Award, and an Einstein Spirit of Achievement Award, among other accolades. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her three sons. Stone is represented by AIG.

Previously announced cast members include: returning series regulars Kaley Cuoco, Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz, and Rosie Perez; new series regulars Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez, and JJ Soria; returning recurring guest stars T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson, and Audrey Grace Marshall; and new recurring guest stars Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera, and Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Credits: THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT is developed by showrunner Steve Yockey, who serves as executive producer alongside co-showrunner and executive producer Natalie Chaidez. Greg Berlanti, Kaley Cuoco, Sarah Schechter, David Madden, Suzanne McCormack, and Silver Tree are executive producers. Jess Meyer is co-executive producer and Bonnie Munoz is producer. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television, Cuoco’s Yes, Norman Productions, and Berlanti Productions.
