Walk This Way: Explore The World And Your Soul With New Series Premiere On Journy In January 2022

Ovation TV, America’s only arts network, is pleased to announce the latest programming for its award-winning travel-entertainment digital channel, JOURNY. Every month, JOURNY premieres a new series, supported by a curated theme of diverse programming, talent, and destinations. For January 2022, the theme “New Year, New You” highlights titles focusing on exploring the world and your soul. The monthly anchor, a JOURNY premiere, is a docuseries entitled Walk This Way that became available in its entirety starting on January 1. 

Feet on the ground and eyes to the sky. Explore Asia the way our forefathers did: on foot. Travel off the beaten path across six countries and discover their native cultures and landscapes. From mountain peaks to underwater caves, to volcanic lakes and forest trails, join our hosts as they travel across the Asian continent. Experiencing life like the locals, here are some highlights featured on Walk This Way:

• Pick tea leaves on a Sri Lankan plantation
• Venture into one of the world’s largest cave systems in Vietnam
• Walk in the Philippines, where coffins hang off the cliffs

Glamping Adventures: an eight-part travel lifestyle series exploring sustainable tourism through luxury camping or “glamping” in unique places across Asia. Each episode follows the unique journey of duo glampers from diverse backgrounds. They pursue exciting adventures in locations such as Mongolia, Cambodia, China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Turkey while experiencing back-to-nature living – and recharge and reignite their passions, in the pursuit of magic. 

The New Creative India: takes you on a journey into the creative spaces and minds of India’s artists – both upcoming and established – who are redefining the boundaries in their respective fields. Presented by artist duo and brothers, ManilRohit, the eight-part television series offers an insight into the world of contemporary Indian design, art, mixed-media, jewelry, fashion, even body-art. 

Finding The Warrior Within: the story of French traveler Guillaume Sanchez as he embarks on a journey to learn about the traditional dances of Dayak culture (the native people of Borneo), and everything that goes with it. Guillaume dances his way around the world in this immersive travel show unraveling the mysteries of foreign cultures and all they carry with them.
