The Morty’smobile debuts after the successful “opening” of Morty’s earlier this year, a weekend-long restaurant pop-up at Wendy’s Panorama City location in Los Angeles that provided local fans with a custom drive-thru experience. The newly imagined vehicle was hand-crafted using the finest fiberglass available on C-137 and features Wendy’s red hair, freckles, and a Hot & Crispy Fries car wrap that will make fans’ mouths water.
“Adult Swim and Wendy’s go together like Hot & Crispy, so we took our tasty partnership to the streets of LA and delivered free fries to our fans ahead of the Adult Swim Festival,” said Tricia Melton, chief marketing officer for Warner Bros. Kids, Young Adults, and Classics.
Ahead of this weekend’s grand premiere at the Adult Swim Festival, the Morty’smobile took a joy ride, serving Hot & Crispy Fries to Rick and Morty fans in the Los Angeles area. “Cold and soggy fries suck. It’s as simple as that,” said Jimmy Bennett, VP of Media and Social for the Wendy’s Company. “We know Rick and Morty fans deserve better, so we sent the Morty’smobile to save the day and rescue fans with Wendy’s new Hot and Crispy fries.”
Wendy’s is running a national promotion including a special offer in the Wendy’s app that will be available during the weekend of the Adult Swim Festival. Rick and Morty fans can snag a FREE any size fry with purchase from November 11 to November 16 via a mobile offer*. Adult Swim will also celebrate with a Morty’s Prize Pack Sweepstakes, available to 50 lucky winners.
