MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount+ Double Down on Reality as New Home of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” and Announce Global Premiere of New Series “Queen Of the Universe” Also from World of Wonder

Cast ru-vealed for this season of All-Stars; Series will premiere with two episodes followed by weekly drops every Thursday.

MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount+ continue to bolster a robust reality slate by announcing premiere dates for RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars and Queen of the Universe on June 24th and December 2nd, respectively; the latter will premiere globally.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race is a global phenomenon and we are thrilled to bring All-Stars to Paramount+ as we expand our reality offerings,” said Chris McCarthy, President of MTV Entertainment. “And, with Queen of the Universe, we are going global as we create the first annual international singing competition to finally answer the question of which country has the best drag queen.”

From World of Wonder – producers of the Drag Race franchise – the ViacomCBS streaming service will also globally premiere Queen of the Universe on Thursday, December 2. Inspired by international singing competitions where countries go head to head with their best drag queens, this first-of-its-kind singing competition brings together drag queens from all around the world to compete for global domination.

Paramount+ also “ru-vealed” the queens sashaying back to the runway to compete in the new season of Drag Race All Stars launching with two all-new, back-to-back episodes starting Thursday, June 24, with weekly drops every Thursday. Viewers will get a chance to see their favorites return to vie for a spot in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame” and a cash prize of $100,000.

The All-Stars queen ru-veal launched exclusively on the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” YouTube channel, via a YouTube premiere HERE. Following the launch, additional content including Meet the Queens, will go live across RuPaul’s Drag Race Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube accounts.
