The humorous, crime, drama, mystery series from Canada has become an international hit. The great Murdoch Mysteries wraps up the 14th season with a 2-hour, 2-night finale on Ovation. Here’s what’s coming up:
Episode 1410 “Everything is Broken Part One” Airs on Ovation TV on Saturday, April 24 at 7PM ET

After a woman’s body is found in a drum of lye, Murdoch (Yannick Bisson)’s past haunts him. The victim is his former lover Anna Fulford (Lisa Faulkner), who’d spent years fleeing the Blackhand crime syndicate. And now it appears they finally caught her. Angry with her husband, Ruth (Siobhan Murphy) leaves Higgins (Lachlan Murdoch) for the Murdoch home where her pregnant princess routine tests Ogden (Hélène Joy)’s patience. Violet Hart (Shanice Banton) regrets her impulsive elopement. And Watts (Daniel Maslany) pursues a young boy who shot at a group of men in Arthur (James Graham)’s restaurant then fled. Meanwhile, turmoil in Brackenreid (Thomas Craig)’s personal life put his professional life in jeopardy.

Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) quickly realizes Harry (Etienne Kellici), the boy who shot at the Blackhand crime boss to avenge his mother Anna (Lisa Faulkner)’s murder, is his son. Ogden (Hélène Joy) is stunned but eager to accept the boy out of love for Murdoch. Meanwhile, elsewhere love takes a beating. Crabtree (Jonny Harris)’s proposal to Effie (Clare McConnell) is dashed, Watts (Daniel Maslany) braces for Jack (Jesse LaVercombe)’s marriage, and Higgins (Lachlan Murdoch) and Ruth (Siobhan Murphy) remain separated despite their imminent baby. Violet Hart (Shanice Banton) is also growing un-enamored of Arthur Carmichael (James Graham)’s arrogance and indulgence. Yet family is the one thing holding Brackenreid (Thomas Craig) together as he steels for the fight of his life against pressure to resign from his job.
