The flagship event of Barrett-Jackson’s extremely popular collector car auctions, Barrett-Jackson LIVE, SCOTTSDALE Auction, will premiere Wednesday, March 24th on FYI(R). The live coverage will continue through March 27th beginning at 3PM ET each day on FYI(R) and The HISTORY Channel(R). Typically held in January, the auction was delayed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale with updated safety measures in place, after Barrett-Jackson conducted a very successful, COVID compliant auction in October 2020.
The Scottsdale Auction also marks the return of the Barrett-Jackson Cup, where 50 of the top custom vehicle builders will compete to win prizes and take home the coveted Ultimate Best in Show trophy.
A core component of Barrett-Jackson auctions for nearly 50 years, this year’s auction will again feature charitable items on the block, including a record 8 VIN 001 vehicles going for No Reserve with 100% of proceeds going to the nominated charity. Charity vehicles include the first GMC Hummer EV; the 2021 Ford Bronco, and the first-built 2010 Ford Roush Mustang Barrett-Jackson Edition with the entire sale price benefitting the Michael Phelps Foundation.
