A+E Networks(R) has launched Skills + Thrills(TM) an all-new FAST channel featuring fan-favorite reality series along with premium nonfiction and competition programming from their library catalog. Available today on The Roku Channel, the home for free and premium entertainment on the Roku(R) platform, Skills + Thrills will roll out across major streaming platforms in the coming months, it was announced today by Steve MacDonald, President, Global Content Licensing & International, A+E Networks.
Celebrating the American spirit of grit and adventure, Skills + Thrills is the latest 24/7 FAST channel from A+E Networks to premiere this past year, joining Lively Place – which features award-winning, premium lifestyle series; and Crime 360, which takes viewers inside the theories and evidence presented in actual criminal investigations.
“Fueled by A+E Networks’ hugely successful cache of premium library content, Skills + Thrills serves fans with the shows they want in programming blocks that are tailored to their interests, including favorites like Duck Dynasty and Ice Road Truckers,” said MacDonald. “We’re glad to partner out of the gate with Roku, reaching their extensive audiences across The Roku Channel and creating tremendous value for A+E’s content through their incredible ad monetization. We are equally excited to introduce Skills + Thrills to additional partners and fans over the coming months.”
Skills + Thrills is a fully scheduled channel that includes programming from A+E Networks’ vast library of award-winning content. Among the first programs included in the schedule are adventure series Ice Road Truckers, Top Gear; reality series Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour, Duck Dynasty; competition series Top Shot, The Strongest Man in History; and nonfiction series Hunting Hitler and The Curse of Civil War Gold.
