As we all wait for an announcement from CBS as to when Big Brother will return, Us Weekly reports that “multiple sources exclusively reveal” that CBS has been quietly contacting former players for a potential All-Star season this summer.
Us Weelky goes on to say, “While negotiations are ongoing, several former winners and notable alumni have been approached about returning for the 20th anniversary of the show, which is hosted by Julie Chen and premiered in July 2000. Sources tell Us some of them declined for various reasons, the risk of COVID-19 being one of them.”
As far as the prospect of an All-Star season goes, CBS is known to throw out red herrings to keep us expecting the unexpected. I was predicting a Celebrity version as they are shorter seasons and would line-up better the regular TV season.
Whatever you hear, nothing is official until you hear it from CBS.
So what would you like to see?
