FX network has suspended production on the fourth season of Fargo. The series, and revealed that the new season will not premiere on Sunday, April 19 as previously scheduled.
The new season, set in 1950s Kansas City and starring Chris Rock as the head of a major crime family, was supposed to bow with its first two episodes April 19, with eight additional installments rolling out weekly from there.
Physical production had been completed on eight of the ten episodes ordered for Fargo’s fourth season
‘Due to the postponement of production related to the coronavirus, the fourth installment of FX’s award-winning limited series Fargo will no longer premiere on Sunday, April 19th,’ the statement began.
‘A new premiere date will be determined once production resumes,’ the network’s statement concluded.
