Two detectives (Killian Scott and Sarah Greene) investigate the murder of a young girl in a small Irish town, as well as the disappearance decades earlier of three children in the woods.
Dublin Murders is based on the Dublin Murder Squad book series by Tana French, commissioned by British public service broadcaster BBC for BBC One, and Starz, with Irish public service broadcaster RTÉ later joining the project.
The series consists of eight episodes, and adapts the first two books in French’s series, In the Woods and The Likeness.
Filming commenced in 2018 in Belfast and Dublin. Filming continued in Dublin in late February 2019.
