Survivor - At the challenge both tribes learn they will compete for burgers and beers. Jeff tells both tribes they will be voting someone out. The challenge was grueling and the tribes were pushed to their limit. Amy went down with a serious ankle injury. Tempers flare as Jamie and Bobby Jon face off. In the end Nakum win the reward and the chance to compete for individual immunity and Rafe wins immunity.
At Yaxha, Brian tried to rally Gary and Amy to vote off Bobby Jon. At Nakum, the tribe indulged. But Judd drank himself into trouble. During tribal council, Judd turned up the heat when he attacked Margaret. Judd got his way and Margaret was voted out. Rafe sat in on Yaxha’s tribal council, where Brian was voted out. Eleven are left, who will be voted out tonight?

Night 15
Judd is thanking the tribe. He says his bark ain’t as big as his bite.
Judd (confessional) “We went to tribal council tonight and Margaret got voted out, thank God. She just pushed my button man, and pushed it and pushed it and pushed it and kept pushing it. I couldn’t take it anymore and I kinda had a little outburst and put her in her place, man.”
Judd is telling his tribe mates that in the other tribe Margaret was the mom, and everybody used to call her mom. When she didn’t have that role anymore, it just devastated her. Judd says he’s not a loose cannon, but he blew up. He says he’s not like that around camp. He is happy and just a big teddy bear. He says, “Hopefully I’ll be laughing my ass to the bank and she’ll still be at home making chicken wings or something.” Jamie (confessional) “Thing is with Judd, he has a big voice, he’s a big guy, so that scares a lot of people. But that doesn’t
make me nervous, if anything it makes me wanna keep Judd closer because I could take him to the final and then I’d have all the votes and Judd wouldn’t have any, because he’s gonna keep blowing up.”
Yaxha
Day 16
Amy says she is so cold. We then see Bobby Jon taking off his shirt. It is stuck to his shoulder, and he peels it slowly off of a large sore. Bobby Jon “I hurt my shoulders pushing the big ball during the challenge but that’s just a part of the game. Everybody over here at Yaxha has these things all over them. I just got a couple of bad ones. And I got one on my right shoulder right now and it’s pretty bad. I went to take my shirt off and it was literally pasted to it. Got a long way to go in the game and will probably get a lot more banged up than this. So right now just gotta be tough and know there’s a gold rush waitin’ at the end of the rainbow.”
Amy talks about how gross the sores are and asks if hers look like that. Brandon points out where her sores are and says they make her look tough. Brandon “I have open
festering sores and it sucks, but I go into these challenges and you completely forget about this, I probably won’t even feel it.”
Jeff welcomes Nakum and Yaxha into the challenge area. Jeff says both tribes getting their first looks at the new tribes, Margaret voted out at Nakum, Brian at Yaxha. He tells them today’s challenge is going to require teamwork and a lot of dexterity. Jeff: “Four tribe members are going to wrap 30 feet of material around their bodies and then un spool that material as they make their way down field to the finish. Here’s how it works, first person will move around a pole as quickly as they can, un spooling the material off of the pole and onto their bodies. You’ll then move to the second person, you’ll connect to the second person, then together the two of you will move around the pole, putting the material around both of your bodies, then the third person and finally the fourth person. So you will end up with four people wrapping material around the group. Once you have all the material around all four people, you start moving down field and begin unwinding the material off of your body. Each time a person unwinds, they unclip and head to the finish mat. There’s one other person in this challenge - they are the winder. Their job is to assist the other four any way they can by helping them move around the pole, or helping keep their balance. First tribe to get all five tribe members to the finish mat wins reward.”
Jeff asks them if they want to know what they are playing for. He goes on to explain that the Maya discovered chocolate. They will be playing for chocolate and a chance to take part in a zip line tour of the jungles of Guatemala. Nakum sits out Judd. Jamie is the “winder” for Nakum. Amy is the “winder” for Yaxha.
Stephenie is the first to go for Nakum, while Brandon goes for Yaxha. Steph is finished first, un clips and goes to the second pole and clips onto Lydia. Nakum has the lead. Brandon finishes and runs to clip onto Gary. Steph and Lydia have trouble, and Yaxha takes the lead. Gary and Brandon move up to Bobby Jon. Nakum makes up some time and moves to the third pole, clipping onto Rafe. Yaxha moves onto the fourth and final pole and hooks onto Danni. Nakum moves on to clip onto Cindy. Jeff notes it is getting harder to move with four people. Nakum finishes the winding first and starts to unwind. Jamie goes to the mat. Yaxha is unwinding and making up
ground as Nakum slows down. Nakum falls, panics and can’t get up. Yaxha gets all their members onto the mat first and wins reward.
Jeff tells Yaxha they did a good job. They stayed calm and now they get a big reward – chocolate and the zip line canopy tour. He points out to Nakum that they fell and panicked, he says he has nothing for them and they can head back to camp.

Day 16
Bobby Jon says they won reward and they’ve got some momentum on their side. And they get to get out of camp and do something. Amy talks about being afraid of going
on the zip line. Amy goes first, and doesn’t look like she enjoys the ride over the canopy all that much. When she gets to the platform she can’t wait to get unhooked, and quickly asks if they are done. Bobby Jon gets his turn and enjoys the ride. He says the view is just majestic. It’s like stuff he’s seen in the movies. He’s never done anything like that before and probably won’t ever do it again. Gary goes next, then Danni. Brandon goes last and says he had no idea you could do anything like that. He thought it was cool. At the end of the zip line they discover a chocolate feast. There is every kind of chocolate you could imagine. Candies, cakes, chocolate-covered cherries. After stuffing themselves they gather up all the chocolate that is left and head out. Brandon says “God, I hope I hold that down.”
Nakum
Rafe and Stephenie are making an UNO card game out of leaves. Rafe talks about how they actually made the leaves into playing cards. Yaxha is shown paddling their rig to Nakum to invite them over to Yaxha camp for a pool party in honor of Danni’s birthday. They talk about keeping it under control and talk to Bobby Jon about staying calm. When they get to Nakum, they start trying to get their attention. Nakum wonders what is going on and is suspicious about what Yaxha is doing there. Steph tells the other tribe members they should at least go see what Yaxha wants. Yaxha tells them they just want to have a birthday party for Danni. No buffs, no game talk, just fun, AND they have treats! Jamie and Cindy don’t want to go, but they finally all paddle to Yaxha.
While the others are having fun eating chocolates and swimming, Jamie sits around and gripes. Cindy also says (in confessional) that she is not happy about this party, but doesn’t want to show that she is feeling this way because it might alienate the others and jeopardize her staying around. Steph says she mainly came over because of the chocolate. Bobby Jon says that the day was about fellowship. He points out the opposing Mayan chiefs would get together and smoke. Jamie gets restless and tells the others they still have to get wood and water before dark and they should go back to camp. Steph says they will go soon, and Jamie says now. Nakum leaves the
Yaxha camp. Jamie says they stayed way too long and things got way too friendly. Steph says Jamie freaks her out, but she is not gonna back down. She says there could be a clash.

Day 18
The tribe is sitting around the pool and Bobby Jon sitting in the water letting the little minnows swim around the sore on his shoulder and eat the skin hanging off. He is snapping his mouth at them, said almost caught one.
We join Gary and Amy talking back at camp. Gary says Amy is vulnerable at next immunity and they both agree that if Immunity isn’t won by their tribe. They have to play for themselves. Amy laughing at Gary lying says after when I found out. I am going to beat you down like a dog. He says she will never find Gary Hawkins in Grand Haven he don't exist, and they need too win this challenge to avoid discord between them with his lie. We see Amy with Tree Mail.

The
history of the ancients, in this place have been revealed.
Archeologist have unearthed the mysteries, but still secrets are
concealed.
So you will have to do some digging, to excavate the clues.
Fail to put it together first, and one more tribe mate you will
lose. |
Amy confesses, “Right now it’s a numbers game. We need to win this challenge as a tribe so if there were a merge we’re five on five.” Danni asks Bobby Jon if he is nervous. He says, “Yes, but in a good way. I’m glad I am nervous.” Bobby Jon (confessional) “If we don’t win and if we do merge we’re gonna be in a mess. We’re gonna be outnumbered by two people and they’re just gonna pick us right off. Today is the biggest day ever, bigger than any reward we’re gonna see. Bigger than anything.”
Immunity Challenge:
After both tribes make their way to the challenge. Jeff explains, “Today’s immunity challenge will test your ability to work together as a team while solving a puzzle. Three members from each tribe are responsible for retrieving giant puzzle pieces from a sandpit. On my go, you will run out one at a time attempting to find a piece. Each time you find a piece you bring it back and drop it in front of your mat and the next person goes out. Each person has to make at least one attempt. Once you have collected all twelve pieces, two different members will race to assemble the puzzle. It resembles the
Mayan calendar. First tribe to get it together wins immunity and a one in ten shot at a million bucks. Losers, tribal council and someone is going home.” Lydia sits out for Nakum.
Gathering pieces for Nakum - Jamie, Judd and Cindi.
Gathering pieces for Yaxha - Brandon, Bobby Jon and Danni.
The first few puzzle pieces are visible. Judd has the first piece with Bobby Jon just behind Jamie and Brandon. Nakum got their third puzzle piece, Danni found it can't lift it and gets help, Yaxha has three and Nakum has five, Bobby Jon getting a huge piece for Yaxha, tied five each, they have to dig now to retrieve the rest of the puzzle.
Both tribes with six pieces, Danni comes back with seven for Yaxha, Judd gets eight for Nakum. Yaxha with nine, Jamie has nine and is tied, Danni gets number 10, Judd finds a big piece both with 10 pieces. Brandon still looking, Jamie has another for Nakum, Nakum with one left, Yaxha with one, Cindy has 12th and final for Nakum begins putting together as Yaxha has 11 pieces and Bobby Jon searching for last pieces and finds it.
Gary and Amy start putting the puzzle together, Steph and Rafe have big advantage for Nakum. Their puzzle coming together nicely. Nakum getting closer and closer, as Yaxha starts to catch up. Nakum very close and figured it out and put the final piece in and wins immunity. Jeff: “Nakum, unlike the reward challenge you did not panic, immunity is yours and no tribal Council tonight. Yaxha, sadly for one of you day 18 will be your last. Tribal Council tonight somebody going home. Head on back
to camp. We’ll see you at council.”

Day 18
We come back from commercial to Amy telling us that it was a devastating loss for her and her tribe. She feels that she has an uphill battle now and that she could be the one voted off. We go to a conversation between Amy and Danni. Amy is asking if she has a shot with Bobby Jon and Brandon. She tells Danni that she wouldn’t outlast anyone here. Danni feels there is a merge coming soon. Danni tells Amy she would feel bad to vote Bobby Jon out because last time he never got to the merge. They go onto discuss that it wasn’t fair that Stephanie and Bobby Jon were brought back into the game. Danni comments, “It was such a huge advantage to them.” Amy tells us that her last shot is to get Danni and Gary to vote Bobby Jon out. Amy confronts Gary asking him what he thinks. He tells her that Danni and Brandon are running the show and he needs to show them loyalty. If she can get Danni to vote Bobby Jon then he will.
We go to Bobby Jon and Brandon. Bobby Jon is telling Brandon that he will feel really bad if he doesn’t get to the jury. He feels close but not close enough. He confesses to us, “I want to make it to the jury, to me that would be a life long dream come true. Nobody gets second chances and I’ve been given one. I just don’t want to blow it!”
Danni says this is defiantly a hard decision and she wants to be sure she is making the right one. She approaches Brandon on the deck of the pool. Brandon tells her that he was hoping it wouldn’t come to this. Neither of them wants to vote anyone out. Danni asks Brandon if they should factor in that Bobby Jon has had a chance to play this game before. Brandon later explains to us, “I'm somewhat conflicted because here I have my alliance with Bobby Jon. and everything, but I believe that these other people, you know, Gary and Amy maybe deserve to be here a little bit more than he does because he has already had his shot. This is probably the most complicated spot I have been in the game. And it's really taking its toll on my mind. I mean it doesn't say in survivor rules that you have to deceive, manipulate, cheat. You don't even have to make alliances. You are doing this stuff so you can get one step closer to a million dollars. And it like you are selling your soul or something.”
Tribal Council
Once Seated, Jeff starts questioning Danni. Jeff: So Danni, day 18, seven people are gone and you’re still here. It’s gotta feel good at this
point?
Danni: Well nothing feels really good today. I mean to have to come to tribal council tonight, because we’ve all bonded so well. It sucks.
Jeff: Gary, what is different today than was different the last time you came to Tribal Council?
Gary: I think this group that we have here is so tight just because the energy, the attitude how close we have gotten after competing as hard as we can, and going through some tough times and going through some great times.
Jeff: Amy, how would you characterize this experience so far, 18 days in.
Amy: This is a bomb, right here. I went through things that I will never experience anywhere else, you know. You get to know these people, you go through tough times and you bond together, I mean I love these guys.
Jeff: Brandon, when you come to Tribal Council you are voting someone out. You are sending them home. It's over, torch out, bye-bye. As ugly as that, how much more difficult is that for you than you anticipated?
Brandon: It's a lot more difficult than I anticipated. The hardest part is justifying why you voted them out. Everything comes into consideration, you know, okay, okay, I made alliances, and this person is in my alliance, got to vote them out. On the other hand you think maybe a person in your alliance may not be as deserving to stay in this game, I mean really shouldn't you keep the person that is deserving?
Jeff: Danni, did you anticipate this dilemma of deserving because of how they play versus deserving because I gave them the word?
Danni: Oh, I mean yeah, I know that is how it goes. I feel it is just part of the game. That you are giving your word and keeping it sometimes is going to be hard in this game.
Jeff: Bobby Jon, what do you do when you come to Tribal Council and you don't want to vote anybody out?
Bobby Jon: Do you look at every person and say they are valuable or is it simply alliances, what is it? My only answer would be what kind of deal did you make with somebody on day two, on day three, on day four, for bobby Jon, that's the only answer I have. I don't know about the other guys. But that's my answer.
Jeff: Well, right or wrong, it is time to vote. Bobby Jon., you are up.
Bobby Jon climbs the stars and we are shown his vote for Amy. He tells her, “Amy, you are the strongest, most real human being I have ever met in my entire life, my entire life. I won't ever meet anybody more real than you.”
Jeff goes and tallies the votes. He says, “Once the votes are read the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I will read the votes.”
First vote, Amy. Second vote Bobby Jon, third vote Amy, that's two Amy. Forth vote is read and it’s Amy. That’s enough and Amy is the Eight person voted and makes her walk of shame. After Amy leave Jeff tells Yaxha, “Well, I am convinced after tonight's tribal council that you really have become a close group. And hopefully that will help you because you are about to embark on a new challenge. The four of you will not go back to your camp. You will go directly to Nakum's camp. You and Nakum are no longer two tribes, are you going to merge into one new tribe. All of your personal items, all rewards you have won will be relocated. These are your new buffs. You are
responsible for taking these, delivering them, handing them out and the ten of you need to decide on a new tribe name. Whole new game. Grab your torches, head out. Good night.”
Final words from Amy - “I'm very proud of myself getting this far. You look down at your soul here
out in Guatemala. You have absolutely nothing and I have learned a tremendous amount of things I never knew about myself. And I will continue to learn about myself after this journey is over when I get home. I made some great friends and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
