Previously on Survivor. Yaxha dodges deadly visitors, then everything changed when the tribes were unexpectedly split. Danni, Brandon, Bobby Jon and Blake were the new members of Yaxha. Jamie, Lydia, Rafe and Stephenie were the new members on Nakum. At the new Nakum tribe, Stephenie and Jamie approached Judd about turning on his old tribe mate Brooke and Margaret felt uneasy about Judd loyalties. At Yaxha, Brian, Amy and Garry felt the pressure of being outnumbered by their new tribe mates three to four. Blake and Bobby Jon shared a private moment to confirm their game plan. At the Immunity challenge, Yaxha threw their way into victory. Back at Nakum, Margaret pressured Judd to vote out Lydia to keep the four former Nakum members united and Judd doubted his new alliance. But in the end Judd turned his back on his former tribe mates and vote out Brooke. 14 are left, who will be voted out tonight?

Night 11
Back from Tribe Council there is tension in the air. Stephenie is saying she never wants to go there again. Margaret is clearly unhappy about Brooke’s departure. Judd explains to us that he is happy about the outcome of Tribe Council. Margaret is really sad about what Judd has done. She tells us he is a traitor. Judd doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him. As long as his family are happy with him, that’s all that matters.

Day 12
We see a peaceful setting, then a really close up shot of a crocodile! Blake,
watching the sunrise explains to us where he sits in the game, “This morning
I'm sitting here thinking about how am I sitting in this game right now and what chance do I have in this game. I think I have a pretty good chance with this group I’m in now. We have seven members and four from Nakum. Bobby Jon, Brandon, Danni and I. I think it worked out pretty good. We have the odds.”
Later that morning there is commotion at camp. Amy is chased by a flying beetle. Brian proclaims it to be a “magical
beetle” and Brandon complains that Amy is a city slicker. He is used to more farming community type people... country hicks. Amy is asking all kinds of question on how to farm. Bobby Jon explains about how to plow and plant seeds. Brian also explains that Yaxha is very religious, they pray before eating and before
every challenge. They thank Jesus for everything. He isn’t religious but he explains that he isn’t dumb enough to object. He tells us, “That would be dumb! Even if I object to something, you just have to grin and bare it.”
Reward Challenge
Before they get underway, Jeff asks Nakum what the water situation is like. Steph explains that the water is mucky and murky and they just dump buckets over themselves. Blake from Yaxha explains that they go waist deep in water to cool off, even after seeing a crocodile this morning.
Jeff explains the challenge. “Both tribes will race to the first station and cut through a rope using a sharp stone just like the ancient Maya would have. Once you cut through the rope, you release two handles. Untie them and take them to the next station where a different tribe member will chop threw a log to a second rope. Once you have chopped through the second log, you will release two more handles. You now have four handles, race up
the platform where four different tribe members will take the handle and put them in a turnstile and begin cranking it. As you crank that turnstile, you will bring a cart up the hill closer and closer. Once the cart reaches the top, all the tribe members that have participated in the challenge thus far, will get in the cart and that leave one member left. They must chop the final rope with the machete and send the cart screaming down the hill. First tribe to the end wins reward.”
They are playing for a Chip and dip as well as margarita. But as Jeff explains it would be nice to have a body of water to relax in and get out of the heat. He explains that they are also playing for a floating crocodile cage with decking, and umbrella and lounge chairs. So they will be able to go into the water safely and not have to worry about being eaten!
(moaning from both tribes)
As they go, Jamie and Brandon get to work on the ropes. Brandon kicks butt and already on the second rope while Jamie is still trying. Jamie still working on the first rope while Bobby Jon is almost through the log.
(This isn’t even a challenge!) Bobby Jon has cut the rope
and Garry, Blake, Brian and Amy cranking. Jamie still trying to cut through the first rope!?! Jeff says, “The biggest blow out in this season so far!”
Yaxha have cranked the cart
all the way up the hill. Danni cuts the rope and sends Yaxha down the hill. Bobby Jon is in the cart screaming waving his legs in the air. Yaxha, in a
puff of red dust win reward! Meanwhile, Jamie finally finishes cutting the second rope and wants to finish the challenge. Steph looks upset and Margaret says “we’re done!” Jamie is really sorry. Jeff tells Nakum, “An absolute blow out! Jamie, it falls on you. Head back to camp.”

Day 12
Amy is so excited to see their reward back at camp. All of them are stuffing their face and they comment that Brandon kicked ass on the challenge. Brian wants to get in the water but is so hungry he keeps stuffing his face. Finally, after having their fill of food, the whole tribe jump in the water
to cool off safe from the crocodiles.

Day 12
Jamie is apologetic back at camp. He takes all the blame for losing the challenge. He just couldn’t cut the rope like Brandon. Judd explains to us that you can see the looks on peoples faces. You can’t fall apart like that, “we’re a team.” He and Cindi have an altercation at the dock as they come in from the challenge. He tells her that if her or Margaret could have done better then they should have stepped up to the plate.
As Steph, Cindi and Judd walk to the camp, Steph comments about how Bobby Jon was screaming and acting stupid when his tribe won kicking his legs and cheering like a girl. Steph said,
"I wanted to knock him out!" Steph goes on to explains to us, “I’m happy for Bobby Jon that he is winning cause I know how it is to lose and it sucks! But it annoys me when I watch him wins cause he cheers like a girl. I think it’s obnoxious and I’m jealous... basically.” She goes on to talk about Jamie being cocky and saying he can cut the rope.
"Then he goes on to get his ass beat by a
22-year-old farm boy and they have the challenge done before he even cuts through the rope!" She
adds, “I’m sick of this! It’s like Palau all over again. I’m sick of losing.” She feels like she is a really bad dream and she can’t get out. She doesn’t want to relive what she went through with Palau and she is always seems to be in the less able group and it sucks!

Night 13
Amy, Gary, Brandon and Danni are huddled under the camp fly (tarp). Brandon talks about how it has been raining for a couple of hours, and they are all huddled under an umbrella, and it sucks. He comments about Brian and Blake, who we see dry and sleeping under the shelter.
Amy, Gary, Brandon and Danni all call Blake “golden boy.” Amy says that she gave Blake the nickname “golden boy” because he always comes out smelling like roses. He’s gonna make out well in life. That’s just him. Plus he has the greatest stories.
Gary and Blake are talking Blake is doing all the talking. He is telling Gary all about his girlfriend. Brandon comments about how Blake is always talking about himself and talks himself up. Blake continues talking about boobs.
Brian says Blake is such an idiot. He is making himself look like a pretty boy, a rich boy. Brian tells us his new game out here is “bait Blake.” He wants Blake to keep telling his stories around Danni, Bobby Jon so they can see he’s a moron. Brian says “He’s digging himself into a hole, and I’m gonna do everything I can to make sure he has a shovel”
Nakum
Day 14
Stephenie and Lydia find tree mail. There is a note and a ball on a rope. Lydia grabs the rope, says it looks like something Hercules would throw, and she twirls it around. Back at camp they read:
| Tree
Mail |
Half
your bodies, Half your minds.
Will have to move as one.
Communicate or fall apart,
Work together, this could be fun. Race around, push and shove,
Will old friends be respected?
Fail to catch immunity,
You may be the next one here ejected. |
Stephenie talks about that it looks like the challenge will be very strenuous. She says she was unfortunately on a tribe that was on a losing streak and now she is on another one. She really wants too win. She wants to get the bad luck away from her. She says she always ends up on the team that sucks.
Lydia is singing and dancing a Nakum song. “Here we come to save the day! Nakum is on their way.” She is also juggling fruit. She says so many things have gotten them down and out lately. She says she got up and said forget about all this down and out, and she is gonna be a motivator person today. She says – we can do the “pancake” (and we see her demonstrating a dance).
Steph wants to know what happened to Lydia between yesterday and today. “Where’s Lydia and when do we get her back?” Jamie tells her she looks like she is having a seizure.
Immunity Challenge:
Jeff calls the tribes in for the immunity challenge. Jeff asks Danni how they are doing as a group. Danni says they are having a great time and swimming by the pool has really brought them together.
Jeff comments to Nakum that nobody is smiling in their tribe. Jamie looks irritated, Judd looks frustrated, Margaret looks ticked off. Jeff - “That’s just what I’m seeing, am I wrong Jamie?” Jamie says they are not smiling until they win.
Jeff says he asked them about how they are doing as tribes because to win tonight’s challenge they will have to work well together.
Jeff takes back the immunity idol and explains that each tribe will divide into two groups of three, each group will have a Maya catch net (a three cornered net – each person holds a corner). One person from each team will work the catapult, and alternate launch balls that the net teams will try to catch. The net teams must stay on the mat until the ball is in the air. Teams can catch any ball from any tribe at any time. They have to catch five balls in the nets to win immunity.
Brian of Yaxha and Lydia of Nakum are the launchers. Brian goes first. Yaxha’s team of Gary, Bobby Jon, and Danni catch the ball. Lydia launches next and no one is able to come up with it. (Steph, Judd and Rafe strategize). Brian’s next launch is caught by Nakum’s team of Judd, Rafe and Stephenie. Score is tied at one each. The fourth ball is launched by Lydia, and again no one is able to catch it, and Brandon falls down. Brian next launch is also missed. The sixth ball, catapulted by Lydia, is caught by Nakum. Nakum 2, Yaxha 1. Brian’s next ball is caught by Yaxha, score is tied at two. Lydia catapults the 8th ball, which is caught by Nakum, who now leads 3-2. Brian’s next launch is also caught by Nakum, now leading 4-2. Lydia launches ball #10, caught by Nakum, who wins immunity!! Jamie yells, “Who’s smiling now!”
Jeff gives the idol to Lydia and Nakum. He tells them they get a break from tribal council and hopefully that will lift their spirits a little bit. Yaxha – other end of the spectrum, somebody is going home. You have the afternoon to figure it out. See you tonight at Tribal Council.
Part Three [10 minutes]
Yaxha
Day 14
The tribe are back at camp. The smiles they had on their faces before the challenge are gone. Danni comments that it doesn’t feel good to lose. Brandon talks about the comment from Jamie and says, “I should have just said why don’t you go cut a rope.” Bobby Jon comments that there is a way to win and that wasn’t it. Brian is talking to Garry, wondering what is going to happen. He asks Garry is he would vote for Blake. They both agree that
Blake is driving the crazy and that they will have to get someone to turn on him and vote him out. Garry approached Bobby Jon about Blake. But Bobby Jon doesn’t feel comfortable in voting out someone that he has giving his word to. Danni talks to Brandon and he feels the same. Danni tells us that Blake is a typical frat boy and while she likes the guy, she thinks he is better to keep around for challenges. She thinks she has the swing vote.
At Tribe Council Jeff questions Garry about the storm. He makes comments about the two people that spent a good night under the shelter
while everyone else tried to keep the fire going. Amy again calls Blake the “Golden Boy”. She explains that golden boy always come out shining. Jeff asks Brandon about the social structure aspect of the tribe. Brando agrees that they are getting to know each other better. Amy said they are at a disadvantage, but they all need to come together as one tribe. Jeff asks Bobby Jon about this vote. Is it easy, hard indifferent. Bobby Jon explains that every Tribe council is hard.
"I don’t like to end
somebody's dream." It's time to vote and they all take their turn to
climb the stairs and vote. Brian's vote is show and he votes for Blake. Blake
in turn votes for Brian.
Jeff goes to tally the votes. The final outcome - Bobby Jon, Brian, Garry,
Amy and Danni all vote for Blake. While Brandon and Blake vote for
Brian. Blake has been voted out and Jeff snuffs his torch.
"The tribe has spoken." Blake then takes the walk of shame and
remains the golden boy without the money.
Jeff comments to the
remaining tribe members, “Well, I’d say based on tonight’s vote. This game just took a big shift. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Goodnight.”
Final words from Blake: “I didn’t see it coming, I don’t understand the reason, that’s why I’m perplexed right now and kinda angry. I stepped it up
in a few challenges and I think that they realized they had to get out someone kinda strong. It makes no sense, why would you do something like that. You don’t want all the strong player I guess. I don’t understand why it happened.”
Part Four [12 minutes]
